A hinge assembly containing a receiver member having a corrugated inner surface and a locking pin for being pivotally disposed within the receiver portion about an axis. The locking pin and receiver member have complementary corrugated engaging surfaces that allow the hinge to provide support for a cantilevered structure when the pin and receiver are engaged. When the complimentary pin and receiver are disengaged, the pin member can be incrementally rotated so as to allow the cantilevered structure to be positioned in a different position or orientation.

Incremental locking hinge assembly

A heatsink is provided for cooling power components on a printed circuit board. The heatsink includes a slot so that it is placed over the power device to be cooled. An activating member may be inserted from the opposite side of the printed circuit board and fastened into another slot running parallel to the slot containing the power device. The insertion of the activating member causes the wall between the device and the activating member to flex and clamp the power device in the slot.

Locking heatsink apparatus

A battery case comprising a pair of case members joined together along a seam to form a housing. Each case member includes a pair of sidewalls adapted to define a base surface on which the case rests so as to permit a plurality of resting orientations of the battery case. The seam is positioned above the lowermost base surface of the casing to contain any leaked battery acid regardless of case orientation. Further, the battery case includes supports for supporting the lower surface of the battery above any leaked acid, as well as partitions that define a discrete cavity for each battery to isolate the battery from an adjacent battery that may be leaking. The battery case also includes an electrical connector mounted for two dimensional movement that facilitates completion of a blind and automatic connection of the battery case with a complementary connector.

A modular UPS unit with an internal central support structure. Each module can be removed from the structure independent of the others, permitting hot swapping of the modules. The internal support structure simplifies the manufacture of the unit, minimizes the size, and the unit is easily expanded in the field. The uninterrupted power supply has a base section, a central support structure and uninterrupted power supply modules. The central support structure is modular and can be connected to the base. Additional modular sections can be added to the central support section. The modular sections are formed from panels having male fasteners and I/O connectors on the front of each panel. The uninterrupted power supply modules have female fasteners for connecting with the male fasteners on the panels and I/O connectors for connecting to the I/O connectors on the panel.

An upflow/downflow high efficiency furnace includes a means for mounting a secondary heat exchanger by use of a hinge member, which permits the furnace to be installed in either an upflow or downflow mode of operation, without any modification to the furnace as manufactured.
