A car seat and base are provided for controlling movement of the car seat during deceleration of a vehicle in which the car seat and base are secured.

Child car seat and base

An improved infant car seat can be attached to and detached from a car seat base and a stroller. The stroller can be used with or without the infant car seat. The infant car seat connects to the stroller frame through a bar that supports a tray at the front of the stroller. The tray slides out of the way for car seat attachment.

Infant car seat and stroller system

An improved infant car seat includes a seat shell and a pendulum having a multiple-range angle indicator pivotably suspended within the seat shell to allow proper angular orientation of the seat shell. The indicator may comprise a color that contrasts with the color of the surrounding face of the pendulum. The indicator is visible through a first viewing area in the seat shell when an angular orientation of the seat shell is within a first range and is visible through a second viewing area in the seat shell when an angular orientation of the seat shell is within a second range. The indicator may comprise additional viewing areas that correspond with additional ranges of angular orientation.

An infant car seat is provided, including a car seat, a car seat base, and a mechanism for connecting the seat to the base. With the car seat base secured to a vehicle seat, the car seat can be conveniently connected to the base to safely transport an infant. The connection and release mechanisms between the car seat and the base are durable and easy to operate.

An improved infant car seat includes a seat shell, a first safety belt having a first looped end, a second safety belt having a second looped end, a third safety belt having a third looped end, and a splitter place connecting the first, second and third safety belts behind the seat shell. The ajuster mates with the adjustment teeth to extend or retract the seat back relative to the seat shell when the adjuster is rotated.

An infant car seat is provided, comprising a seat shell and a handle comprising a grip portion and a pair of handle arms extending from the grip portion. Each of the handle arms is rotatably connected to the seat shell at an end of the handle arm opposite the grip portion. The grip portion comprises a first grip section that extends generally perpendicular to a central longitudinal axis of the seat shell, a second grip section and a third grip section. The second and third grip sections extend inwardly towards the central longitudinal axis from opposite ends of the first grip section.

An infant car seat is provided, including a seat shell, a seat back slideably connected to the seat shell, a plurality of adjustment teeth provided along the seat back, and an adjuster rotatably connected to the seat shell. The adjuster mates with the adjustment teeth to extend or retract the seat back relative to the seat shell when the adjuster is rotated.

A teething gel system and a burstable ampule for use therewith. The teething gel system includes a teether with a chewing portion defining a plurality of depressions for holding gel. A gel spreader is provided for movement across the teether so that gel is deposited into the depressions. The gel spreader includes a housing sized to receive the ampule. A cutter is disposed in the housing and is adapted to burst the ampule when the ampule is inserted into the housing. The ampule includes an inner sleeve formed of rigid material and an outer sleeve formed of frangible material.

A children's handrail assembly consists of four equally spaced connector brackets having three sections of plastic tubing interconnected therebetween. The connector brackets are secured to a standard handrail by means of cable ties which pass through apertures in the connector bracket and pull tightly around the standard handrail. The children's handrail can be applied to either wall mounted or spindle supported standard handrails. When wall mounted, the connector brackets urge against the wall surface. When spindle mounted, an additional cable tie may be employed to secure the bracket to a spindle.

A teething gel applicator including a teether. The teether has a chewing portion sized to be partially inserted into a child's mouth. The teether has a series of depressions for holding a gel. A handle, sized to be grasped by a child, is connected to the chewing portion. A gel spreader, that is removably secured to the chewing portion, is used to fill the depressions with the gel. The gel spreader receives a vial containing the gel and rotates around the chewing portion to deposit the gel in the depressions.

An infant seat consists of collapsible and intersecting frame members providing for a substantial base to accommodate elevation of an infant maintained therein. One of the frame members is articulated with the two pieces thereof being interconnected by a spring such that the seat itself may be caused to reciprocate or 'rock.' Wheels at one end of the base accommodate ease of movement of the infant seat. A toy bar is adapted for selective interconnection with the frame for the presentation of an array of toys over the infant. The frame members are collapsible upon themselves for ease of storage.
