There is disclosed a cooking hood LED light () which is mounted to a cooking hood positioned above a cooking surface. The LED lightincludes a main housing (), a reflector assembly (), an LED lighting circuit (), and a cover plate (). The reflector assembly includes a bottom wall having a square opening () therein from which extends a truncated pyramid shaped light reflector (). The cover plate has a square central opening () housing a safety glass (). The LED lighting circuit includes an LED array light panel () and an LED power supply (). The light panel includes an array of LED light elements (). A clear lens plate () having downwardly depending rounded lens tips () is coupled to the light panel. A metal heat sink () is thermally coupled to the light panel to dissipate heat produced by the light panel.

Cooking hood LED light

A strip curtain system has an elongated track (10) that has a back side (11) with a bottom flange rail (14) and a front side (12) with a bottom flange rail (14) providing a channel 15. The track back side has a ridge (17) extending above at least a portion of the back side bottom flange. The track front side has a channel access port 22 located in front of the back side ridge. A number of curtain strips (30) have a bifurcated hanger (31) mounted about opposite sides their top ends. The bifurcated hangers have a bottom (37) shaped to be slidably supported upon the track rails and a hang support surface (38) for support upon the track back side ridge.

A safety door latch 10 has a base 12 with a shaft 24. A venting disc 30 is rotatably mounted on the base shaft. A lever 50 with a strike locking cam 54 is mounted on the base shaft over the venting disc. Lugs 23, 32 provide for limited relative movements of the locking cam with respect to the venting disc in conjunction with spring bias detenting balls 44.
