An elongated member for a shower door assembly includes a protrusion configured to be received within a channel of a header to slidably couple the elongated member to the header. The elongated member is configured to be slid within the channel between a first position to allow for a shower door to be installed onto, or removed from, the header and a second position to substantially impede upright movement of the shower door when the shower door is moved along the header.

A shower track guide system for a shower enclosure may include an elevated track positioned above a base and at least one stand disposed between the base and the track. The track may be mounted to the at least one stand. A shower door may be movable along a top of the track to permit access to the shower enclosure. The stand may elevate the track above the base to permit water to flow underneath the track.

A shower door assembly includes a header, a door, and an elongated member. The header includes a track and a channel disposed above the track. The door is in moving engagement with the track. The elongated member is received within and slidably coupled to the channel and is configured to be moved within the channel between a first position to allow for removal of the door from the track, and a second position to substantially impede upright movement of the door when the door is moved along the track between an open and a closed position.

A shower door assembly includes a frame having an upper frame member that is elongated with a generally constant cross-section. The cross-section of the frame member may define a channel. The shower door assembly also includes a door that slides in a direction parallel with the channel, as well as a bumper. The bumper is positioned within the channel of the upper frame member and limits movement of the door. The bumper is connected to the upper frame member by the upper frame member compressing a portion of the bumper, or the bumper compressing a portion of the upper frame member, or both.

A shower door assembly is provided that includes a frame mountable at an opening of a shower enclosure. The shower door assembly also includes a door panel movably mounted to the frame and configured to close off a first portion of the enclosure opening. The shower door assembly further includes a storage unit movably mounted to the frame and configured to close off a second portion of the enclosure opening. The storage unit has at least one shelf accessible at least from inside the shower enclosure.

A shower door assembly includes a storage system. One form of the system is a cove of shelves mounted under the same header that extends over the door panel. The cove preferably blocks viewing of items on the shelving from outside the enclosure, but permits access to the shelving from inside the enclosure.
