A biopsy device includes a body, a needle, a cutter, and a cutter drive mechanism. The needle extends distally from the body. The cutter is movable relative to the needle to sever a tissue sample. The cutter drive mechanism is driven by a rotary drive cable and is configured to both rotate and translate the cutter. The cutter drive mechanism is further configured to reverse the transition direction of the cutter wile the drive provided by the rotary drive cable is in a continuous rotary direction.

A biopsy device holder includes a needle holder, a distal holder, and a proximal holder. The needle holder includes an elongated housing extending between an open proximal end and a distal end. The needle holder is adapted to releasably receive the biopsy device through the open proximal end. The elongated housing includes a coupler configured to couple the needle holder to the biopsy device. The distal holder includes an opening configured to pivotably receive the distal end of the needle holder. The proximal holder includes a longitudinal stop that engages with a portion of the needle holder to prevent the needle holder from proximal longitudinal movement. The longitudinal stop is configured to disengage the coupler of the needle holder from the biopsy device when the biopsy device is moved proximally in a longitudinal direction.

A beverage container having a slidably openable lid assembly is disclosed. The lid assembly basically comprises a base member and a cover member. The base member includes a wall portion releasably securing the lid assembly to the container and an opening in fluid communication with a beverage holding chamber in the container. The cover member is slidably coupled to the base member to slide from a closed position to an open position and vice versa. When the cover member is in the closed position it isolates the opening and the contiguous portions of the base member from the ambient surroundings. When the cover member is in the open position it exposes the opening to enable a user to drink the beverage via the opening. The cover includes an elastomeric member arranged to engage and seal the opening in the base member when the cover member is in the closed position.
