A lid assembly for a container includes a seal assembly coupled to a base portion, and the seal assembly includes an intermediate arm pivotably coupled to the base portion and an engagement portion disposed adjacent to a second end. The seal assembly also includes a plunger arm pivotably coupled to the intermediate arm and a seal member disposed on the plunger arm. Displacing a button member coupled to the base portion actuates the seal assembly from a closed first position in which the seal member seals a fluid aperture formed in a spout of the base portion to an open second position in which the fluid aperture is not sealed.

A lid assembly for a beverage container having a lid housing, a seal assembly and a trigger member. The seal assembly has a drink seal to close the drink aperture. The seal assembly is rotatedly connected to the lid housing and movable between a use position and a cleaning position to allow the drink aperture to be open for cleaning. The trigger member is connected to the lid housing and is capable of engaging the seal assembly in the use position, but it cannot engage the seal assembly in the cleaning position. Additionally, a trigger lock is connected to the lid housing to prevent engagement of the seal assembly by the trigger member when the trigger lock is locked. The trigger lock may also contain a visual indicator to indicate that the lock is in the locked position.

A torque wrench for preventing transmission of torque in excess of a threshold level to avoid damage to replaceable scaler tips and hand pieces of ultrasonic dental instruments. The torque wrench has a housing with a core seated therein, with a cam mechanism or spring engagement between the core and the housing, such that the core may remain stationary when the housing is rotated passed the threshold level of torque. The core has an axial bore to receive a connecting shaft of a scaler tip, such that a working end and a functional shank of the scaler tip are received in a chamber of the housing, with the housing acting as an isolation cage for the scaler tip.
