The invention concerns a motor vehicle light assembly comprising a pixelated light emitting diode designed to project, from the motor vehicle, a predefined image, and a device for controlling the pixelated light emitting diode, the pixelated light-emitting diode comprising a plurality of elementary diodes supplied with a common DC current and respectively driven by a pulse-width modulation signal of the supply common DC current, the pixelated light-emitting diode comprising a temperature sensor, and the control device being configured to modify the pulse-width modulation signal depending on a temperature of the pixelated light emitting diode and/or of one or more elementary diodes.

Device and method for controlling a set of light sources for a motor vehicle light assembly

A lighting system for a motor vehicle with a pixelated light source having a plurality of selectively activatable elementary light sources is described. The activation of each elementary light source being controlled exclusively by a switch assigned to the elementary light source. A power converter designed to supply an electrical power to the pixelated light source and a controller designed to control the voltage supplied by the power converter and to control the switches controlling the activation of the elementary light sources. The lighting system also includes an electrical current sensor designed to measure the electrical current supplied by the power converter to the pixelated light source and to transmit information relating to said measured current to the controller.

A matrix light source intended to be supplied with a voltage and having a plurality of electroluminescent semiconductor element-based elementary light sources and a common substrate in contact with an integrated circuit. The integrated circuit includes, for each elementary light source, a switching device for selectively connecting it to a voltage source on the basis of a first control signal. The substrate includes, for at least one of the elementary light sources, an open-circuit fault detection circuit for detecting an open-circuit fault with the elementary light source.
