The present disclosure relates to a method, to a computer program comprising instructions, and to a device for environment sensing in a vehicle. For the environment sensing, environment data are recorded by means of at least one vehicle sensor. A prediction is calculated by means of a trained machine learning model based on the recorded environment data, wherein the prediction includes a measure of uncertainty for the prediction. Equally, a deviation value is determined for the recorded environment data that provides a measure of how significantly the recorded environment data deviate from training data for the machine learning model. At least one conformity score is determined based on the measure of uncertainty and the deviation value and then a prediction set is determined based on the at least one determined conformity score. Then, a control signal is generated depending on the determined prediction set.

The method comprises: steps: receiving, using the vehicle, position data of a first object from a communication device external to the vehicle; detecting a vehicle environment by a detection device of the motor vehicle and detecting an own position of the motor vehicle. In addition, determining if the detection device detects a second object hiding the first object in a field of view between the motor vehicle and the first object, and determining if in a potentially critical situation for the motor vehicle results from the first object. If it is recognized that the first object is hidden and that the potentially critical situation for the motor vehicle results from the first object, a specified warning cascade is initiated.

A voice recognition system having a mobile unit and an external server. The mobile unit includes a memory unit that stores voice model data having at least one expression set with expressions, a voice recognition unit, and a data interface that can set up a data-oriented connection to a data interface of the external server. The external server includes a database with event data having associated time data and expressions. The external server can, by comparing the time data associated with the event data with a current time, produce updated data that includes at least expressions associated with the event data of the database. The update data can be transmitted to the mobile unit. The update data can also be taken as a basis for adding the transmitted expressions to the expression set.
