An improved fitness/exercise apparatus using full or half tire that rotates 360 degrees about a fixed axle. A user lifts/pushes the tire, thus rotating the tire end over end, while the apparatus creates resistance to the rotation via a variety of means, such as a magnetic brake, a viscous brake, a pad and disc brake or a motor-controlled brake system.

Assisted rope climbing apparatus

A cord retaining apparatus includes a receptacle for receiving a head of a cord. A brack is mounted near the receptacle including an upper stop. An arm is pivotally attached to the bracket. A first length of the arm extends distal from the receptacle and a second length of the arm is substantially perpendicular to the first length. The arm is movable into and out of a position in which the second length is behind the head of the cord preventing removal of the cord. The upper stop prevents the arm from moving into a position where the arm does not naturally fall into the position behind the head of the cord.

Power cord automatic retainer

A cable management system for a component mounted in a rack includes a cable management arm and a bracket. The cable management arm may include a rear link attached to the rack and a forward link coupled to the rear link. The bracket may be attached to the component. A hanger pin may provided on the forward link. The hanger pin may couple with the bracket in a slot in the bracket. The hanger pin may apply a force to the bracket such that the hanger pin carries a portion of the weight of the forward link. In some embodiments, the cable management arm includes a pivot pin. The pivot pin may couple with a second aperture in the bracket. The hanger pin may ride along a slot as the forward link is rotated about the pivot pin with respect to the bracket.
