A glass roof arrangement, having a support frame fixedly connected to roof structure parts of a vehicle body. At least one transparent roof panel is fixedly arranged on the support frame, and a shading device is assigned to the underside of the roof panel and has a shading structure displaceable longitudinally in guide rails fastened to an underside of the roof panel. A guide profile cross-section of each guide rail is formed from an edge limb supported substantially orthogonally on the underside of the roof panel, and a guide limb extends substantially parallel to the underside and is attached to the edge limb such that a lateral guide channel for the shading structure is formed and delimited by the underside of the roof panel, the edge limb, and the guide limb.

Glass roof arrangement for a motor vehicle

A drive system including a guide rail assembly fixed to a roof module and including a control mechanism movable in the guide rail assembly and operatively connected to the roof part in order to move the moveable roof part between a closed position, a ventilation position, and an open position. The control mechanism has a drive slide connected to a drive transmission section. A tilting claw is provided on the drive slide, and a wall section of the guide rail assembly is provided with at least one latching profiled section positioned in the region of the guide rail assembly and facing the drive slide. The drive slide is positioned in the guide rail assembly region in the open position of the moveable roof part, and interacts with the tilting claw in a form-fitting manner when the drive slide is tilted.

Drive system for a movable roof part of a roof module of a motor vehicle

A system for a multi-directional roof cover system includes a vehicle comprising an opening in the top of the vehicle and a cover movably coupled to selectively cover the opening. The cover has a first end proximate a first end of the vehicle, a second end proximate a second end of the vehicle, lateral edges connecting the first end and the second end, and linkages coupling the lateral edges to the vehicle. The cover is actuatable, based on one or more conditions, between a first position in which the cover is closed and covers the opening, a second position in which the cover is open and the first end of the cover is raised relative to the second end of the cover, and a third position in which the cover is open and the second end of the cover is raised relative to the first end of the cover.

A roof system with a roof opening fixed to the vehicle including a movably mounted roof part and at least one deployment and guide mechanism for displacing the roof part, and including a control carriage which is movable by a drive system in a guide track arrangement fixed to the roof, and a front and a rear deployment lever. The control carriage has a front control link, in which a bearing pin of the front deployment lever is guided, wherein the bearing pin projects through the front control link into a lifting slotted link fixed to the roof, which is oriented at least in sections crosswise in relation to the front control link.

Roof system for an automotive vehicle

Roof system for a motor vehicle having a fixed roof cutout and having a movably mounted roof part for closing and opening the roof cutout which is displaceable by a tilt and guide mechanism between a closed position, a tilt position and an open position. The tilt and guide mechanism includes on both sides of the roof part in each case a front tilt lever and a rear tilt lever pivotably connected to the roof part by means of a pivot point and operatively connected to a control carriage movable in a guide rail arrangement. The roof part pivot points of the front and of the rear tilt lever are interconnected by an integral, dimensionally stable fastening profile extending along a side edge of the roof part and fastened on the side edge thereof.
