Thermoplastic composition comprising at least 40% by weight and not more than 70% by weight of a crosslinked polymer phase obtained by blending at least one copolymer (a) of 96 to 55% by weight of ethylene, of 3 to 30% by weight of at least one alkyl or cycloalkyl acrylate or methacrylate in which the alkyl or cycloalkyl group contains from 1 to 10 carbon atoms, and of 1 to 15% by weight of at least one unsaturated epoxide, at least one copolymer (b) comprising from 84 to 55% of ethylene by weight, from 15 to 39% by weight of at least one alkyle or cycloalkyl acrylate or methacrylate in which the alkyl or cycloalkyl group contains from 1 to 10 carbon atoms, and from 1 to 6% by weight of at least one arthydride of an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid, and at least one compound (c) capable of accelerating the reaction between the epoxy functional group present in the copolymer (a) and the arthydride functional group present in the copolymer (b); with at least 30% by weight but not more than 60% by weight of at least one saturated polyester.

Composition comprising a mixture from 20 to 70 parts by weight of polynorbornene, from 80 to 30 parts by weight of crystalline polyolefine and a quantity of plastifier for the polynorbornene sufficient to lower its glass transition temperature down to the range of rubbers, characterized in that, a copolymer of ethylene and at least one .alpha.-olefine having from 3 to 10 carbon atoms is used as crystalline polyolefine, said copolymer having a density between 0.89 and 0.93, a crystallinity ratio between 15 and 50% and a fluidity index between 0.5 and 15 dg/min. Such compositions are used to fabricate finished products and industrial articles by using the techniques of extrusion, injection moulding and compression moulding. Particular applications are flexible pipes, joints for the building and car industries, protection bellows for the car industry, injected articles.

Thermoplastic compositions based on saturated polyester and moulded

Polymers of melt index between 1 and 20 dg/min, which comprise units (A) derived from ethylene, units (B) derived from an ethylenically unsaturated .alpha.,.beta.-dicarboxylic acid anhydride and, where appropriate, units (C) derived from an alkyl acrylate or methacrylate in which the alkyl group contains from 1 to 12 carbon atoms, characterized in that, per 100 moles, they comprise: from 83 to 99.7 moles of units (A), from 0.29 to 3 moles of units (B), from 0 to 13.6 moles of units (C) and, furthermore, from 0.01 to 0.4 moles of units (D) derived from at least one polyol polyacrylate or polymethacrylate. Their process of preparation consists of copolymerizing a mixture of ethylene, an anhydride of an ethylenically unsaturated .alpha.,.beta.-dicarboxylic acid, at least one polyol polyacrylate or polymethacrylate and, where appropriate, at least one alkyl acrylate or methacrylate, at a temperature of between 140.degree. and 280.degree. C., under a pressure of between 1,000 and 2,500 bars, in the pressure of at least one free radical initiator, and is characterized in that the polyol polyacrylate or polymethacrylate is dissolved in a solvent prior to the copolymerization.

Polymer composition based on a mixture of 15 to 50% by weight of a propylene polymer and of 50 to 85% by weight of a flexible ethylene copolymer. The flexible ethylene copolymer is either a terpolymer (A) comprising from 83 to 92.7 mol % of ethylene, from 7 to 14 mole % of at least one alkyl (meth)acrylate, whose alkyl group has from 1 to 8 carbon atoms and from 0.3 to 3 mol % of at least one unsaturated dicarboxylic anhydride, or a mixture comprising, for 100 parts by weight, at least 70 parts by weight of the terpolymer (A) and at most 30 parts by weight of at least one copolymer (B) selected from ethylene copolymers comprising from 86 to 93 mol % of ethylene and from 7 to 14 mol % of at least one copolymerizable monomer selected from alkyl (meth)acrylates whose alkyl group has from 1 to 8 carbon atoms and ethylene copolymers comprising 92 to 98 mol % of ethylene and from 2 to 8 mol % of at least one C.sub.3 -C.sub.10 .alpha.-olefin, the said ethylen/.alpha.-olefin copolymers having a density in the range of 0.875 to 0.905, and the said terpolymer (A) having undergone at least a partial dynamic crosslinking, using a crosslinking agent containing at least one functional group capable of reacting with the anhydride functional group of the said terpolymer (A).
