There is provided herein a compression dressing comprising a first cushion layer () and a second support layer () wherein the two layers () are connected to each other in the unstretched state by means of a stich-bonding process via an elastic sewing thread, the stich length being 1.5 to 3mm/U at a sewing thread tension of at most 4 cN.
