Solar powered battery trickle charger

A safety lock device for use in releasably locking the head of a butterfly valve. The two part safety lock device comprises first: a cross-sectionally U-shape elongated frame, having an anchoring part at one end and a lateral flange with a number of bores; the anchoring part releasably engages with the valve head for anchoring the U-frame to the valve head; the elongated channel is sized for full engagement by the valve handle; and second: a casing, with an inner passageway, sized for through engagement by the U-frame, and a lateral pocket extension with a number of bores, for engagement by the lateral flange. The casing is characterized by a wedge part, integrally depending therefrom and sized for engagement between the diverging distal end portions of the valve handle and lever. Padlocks releasably interlock the U-frame to the casing by engaging selected pairs of flange bores and pocket bores, thereby concurrently locking the valve lever in its divergent relation to the valve handle.

Butterfly valve safety lock

A safety lock defining one and another, substantially rigid, elongated legs, the one leg defining an outer first leg portion and an inner second leg portion, and the another leg defining an inner third leg portion and an outer fourth leg portion, and an arcuate web integrally joining the second and third leg portions; the web being made from a resilient material whereby the web forms a hinge for relative movement of the one and another legs; the fourth leg portion including a channel, being releasably engaged by the first leg portion whereby the second and third leg portions form with the web a large shackle-like structure for use in locking a utility control box, and ears, for use in receiving the small shackle of at least a few padlocks whereby the first leg portion thereafter becomes locked into the channel; and a notch arrangement, for automatically but releasably retaining a free end tip of the first leg portion against the channel distal end, even when no padlock shackle engages a corresponding ear.

Safety lock

A mop wringer which includes a combination of a pail and lid wherein the lid can be locked to the pail. A first roller is mounted for rotation about a first axis in the lid while the lid includes an opening and a lid panel is hinged to the lid within the opening. The hinged panel rotates about a hinged axis parallel to the first axis and a second roller is mounted to the hinged panel in an area of the hinged panel remote from the second hinged axis and where the second roller is adjacent the first roller and forms a nip therebetween. Spring means extend between the lid and the hinged panel to urge the hinged panel towards a closed position with the first and second rollers adjacent each other, but the hinged panel can be pressed downwardly to provide access through the opening for a mop. When it is required to wring the mop the hinged panel is forced to close the opening while the mop is within the pail such that as the mop is being pulled through the nip formed by the first and second roller the mop strands are wrung.

Mop wringer

The locking device locks the valve control lever in both its closed or open positions. It consists of a male part and a female part. The male part includes a lengthwise cavity, for flatly and freely receiving the valve lever, and a U-shape extension, transversely extending from one end of the male part main body. The female part defines a channel for sliding engagement by the interconnected male part and valve lever, to interlock same. A padlock interlocks the male and female parts by engaging registering ears thereof.

Valve lock

A load-carrying device comprises a frame adapted to support a load to be carried, and having front and rear end portions. A wheel is rotatably mounted to the frame and positioned at the front end portion for supporting same. The device of the invention further comprises elongated handle means pivotally connected to the rear end portion and frame support means connected to and displaceable with the handle means, the handle means being pivotally movable between a first position whereat the handle means extends rearwardly of the frame for carrying the load with the frame support means being disposed to support the rear end portion, and a second position whereat the frame support means is retracted from its supporting position. A releasable locking means is also provided for interlocking the handle means with the frame in the first position. Pivotal movement of the handle means from the first to the second position causes the frame to be displaced from a raised position above ground to a lowered position adjacent the ground and the rear end portion of the frame to be disposed substantially on ground level, thereby enabling the load to be loaded or unloaded at ground level.
