A blind for a building opening, and having; an upper blind roller, located in an upper region of the head rail, a lower blind attachment located in a lower region of the head rail, an upper blind stored on the upper blind roller, a lower blind stored on the lower blind attachment, upper and lower blind control mechanism to operate the blinds and the upper blind roller being located with an upper axis along an upper plane in the head rail and the lower blind attachment is located on a lower axis along a lower plane within the head rail, the axes being displaced vertically from one another, and in which the upper blind depends down beside a predetermined side of the lower blind attachment, and in which the lower blind depends down alongside said upper blind, so as to provide a head rail having a slim, aesthetically pleasing profile.

A window opening space filler for use with a window having a window opening of predetermined opening width surrounded by a window frame, to adjust the predetermined opening width to fit a window covering having a predetermined covering width, less than the opening width, and having an attachment member for attachment to the widow frame, and, a filler member separate from the attachment member and attachable to the attachment member and extending across the window opening, so that a user can reduce the width of a window opening down each side edge make the window covering fit the reduced width window opening.

A shutter frame lock formed of thermoplastic material for incorporation between a shutter frame and a mounting frame and having a recess integrally formed in a first one of the frames, a one piece moulded locking member secured in a second one of the frames; in which the locking member defines a main body; attachment extensions on the main body engageable with the second frame; a flexible resilient lock strip integrally moulded with the main body, having a lock portion interlockable with the recess in the first frame, and integral flexible arms extending on either side of the lock portion, joining it to the main body.

A cord lock guide for a blind operated by a blind cord, wherein the cord hangs in a loop from a blind head rail, and having a main body portion, formed of front and back panels, and junction portions extending between the front and the back panels, a cord passage defined between the front and back panels, a movable guide body between the front and back panels, a generally semi-arcuate cord guide surface defined by the guide body around which the cord may run, a guide body support extending from the guide body, a hollow sleeve secured between the front and back panels; and receiving the guide body support therein, a resilient member between the guide body and the sleeve, the guide body being movable towards the sleeve against the resilient member and, a cord abutment located between the front and back panels, and oriented so as to obstruct the cord from passing around the guide body, when the guide body is in a first position, and the abutment being out of obstructive engagement when the guide body is moved against the resilient member.
