A faucet having a swivel joint for adjusting the position of an outlet of the faucet. A flow coupler is fixed to a first faucet tube and a sleeve is removably and pivotally linked to the flow coupler by a fastener. A second faucet tube is then removably linked to the sleeve allowing the second faucet tube and sleeve to pivot about the flow coupler to adjust the outlet of the faucet.

Swivel joint for faucet

A removable and replaceable dispensing head for a fluid dispenser system adapted to deliver the fluid to a user includes a hollow shank extending on an axis. A shank hub is attached to the hollow shank, and an aperture aligned with the hollow portion of the shank extends through the shank hub. A first fixed body is removably attached to the shank hub, the first fixed body and shank hub each having corresponding first attachment means arrayed in a predetermined pattern. A fluid conveyance path is provided through the hollow shank, first fixed body and shank hub. A second fixed body is provided having a second attachment means arrayed in the same predetermined pattern, the second attachment means corresponding to the first attachment means in the shank hub enabling removable attachment of the second fixed body to the shank hub upon removal of the first fixed body from the shank hub. A sensor attached to either the fixed body, or to a hub spacer connected to the shank hub, automatically detects the presence of a user and activates the fluid dispensing system.

A mounting plate assembly for use in aligning electrical and plumbing components of a toilet flush valve installation includes a pair of rails having openings therein for use in attaching the assembly to wall studs of variant spacing. There is a plate with openings and fasteners on the plate and rails for variable mounting of the plate to the rails. The plate has an opening for installation of an electrical box and at least one opening for a water inlet pipe. A pipe locater is used to properly position a pipe within the plate opening. There are openings at upper and lower portions of the plate to insure its correct vertical alignment with a water drain from a toilet fixture.

Flush valve mounting assembly

In a water flow system, a non-metallic liner 50 is placed within at least a portion of a passage 48 of a supporting metallic end body 38 to preclude contact between any water flowing through the system and the passage of the end body. The liner 50 includes a flared section 60 at a first end 54 thereof which engages a bevelled surface 49 of the end body 38 and is held there in sealing fashion by a cone washer 82 and a nut 84 threadedly coupled to the end body. At a location near a second end 56 of the liner 50, the liner is formed with a first stepped shoulder 62 which facilitates location of the liner within the passage 48 of the end body 38 at the second end of the liner. A second stepped shoulder 64 is formed on the liner 50 which provides a location for an O-ring 72 which engages an adjacent portion of the passage 48 of the end body to form a seal thereby. With seals formed at the first and second ends 54 and 56 of the liner 50, any water passing through the liner will not contact the passage 48 of the end body 38.

Isolated conduit system

A fluid flow system (20) includes fluid inlet conduits for supplying fluid through a fluid flow path (86) as formed by a manifold (74) and a module (76). The fluid is directed through fluid flow path (86) to a flexible conduit (54) and to a fluid dispensing wand (36) whereat the fluid can be selectively dispensed in a stream or a spray. A linking passageway (102) is formed by manifold (74) and module (76) to couple selectively the pressure of a pressurized environment, such as atmospheric pressure, to fluid flow path (86). An umbrella valve (104) is located in linking passageway (102) and is responsive to the development of a negative pressure at the fluid supply and thereafter couples the pressure of the pressurized environment to fluid flow path (86). This action neutralizes the effects of the negative pressure and precludes the reverse flow of fluid within fluid flow system (20).

An accessory such as, for example, a towel bar (30) includes a pair of spaced supports (54) and (56) which are mounted to a wall (58) and support therebetween a bar (60) for supporting a towel (not shown). Each of the support (54) and (56) include a flange (62), a sleeve or hub (64), a decorator ring (66) and an end-cover button (68). An insert (114) is positioned within a hole (106) formed in the side of sleeve (64) to facilitate support of bar (60) within the spaced sleeves. Each of the supports (54) and (56) is mounted over and attached to a post (78) which is attached to and extends from a base (76) whereby the post and base form a wall mount (74). The wall mount (74) is attached to wall (58) to support the towel bar (30) with the bar (60) being positioned for utilization relative to the external support. Other accessories such as a shelf (32), a soap dish (34), a tumbler/toothbrush holder (36), a shelf assembly (38), a robe hook (46), a towel ring (48), a soap dish stand (50) and a toilet paper holder (52) utilize similar supports and mounting facilities as those of towel bar (30).

A mounting template 10 is formed from a flexible strip 12 of paper material and has indicia printed or formed on a first face 14 thereof. The indicia defines hole patterns A, B, C and D each of which include circles 18 representing hole locations. A rear or second face 16 of the strip 12 has applied thereto a low-tack pressure-sensitive backing 28 of adhesive material which is covered by a removable cover 30. The mounting template 10 can be adhesively mounted on a wall surface and the indicia provides precise and accurate locations of holes to be formed in the surface. The holes facilitate attachment of brackets to the surface which support, for example, bathroom fixtures or accessories.
