A well tool assembly to monitor conditions across a liner hanger packer includes a liner hanger to support a well liner. A liner packer, which includes a seal element, two sensor sub-assemblies and a controller, is coupled to the liner hanger. The seal element is on an outer surface of the liner packer and can fluidically seal the outer surface of the liner packer to the inner surface of the tubular. The first sensor sub-assembly and the second sensor sub-assembly are attached to the outer surface of the liner packer on either side of the seal element. Each sensor sub-assembly can, respectively, sense well properties on the side of the seal element on which the sub-assembly is attached. The controller is operatively coupled to the two sensor sub-assemblies, and can receive sensed well properties from the two sensor sub-assemblies, and transmit the received sensed well properties to a receiver.

A method and system for completing cementing operations in a subterranean well with a wiper plug assembly includes delivering the wiper plug assembly into a casing, the wiper plug assembly having a wiper plug body with a circular cross section and a resilient wiper element that engages an inner diameter of the casing string. An inclination of the wiper plug assembly is measured in three dimensions with an accelerometer assembly and an azimuth of the wiper plug assembly is measured in three dimensions with a magnetometer. The inclination and the azimuth of the wiper plug assembly are delivered to a control unit in real time. An inclination of the wiper plug assembly is determined in real time. The inclination of the wiper plug assembly is delivered to an earth's surface in real time with a transmitter of the electronics package.

A sample catching system for cleaning a drilling fluid in a drilling operation includes a first line having a first entrance valve configured to allow the drilling fluid to flow into the first line, a first chemical sensor for measuring the amount of hydrogen sulfide of the drilling fluid in the first line, and a first sample catch valve configured to allow the drilling fluid to flow out of the first line. The system also includes a second line having a second entrance valve configured to allow the drilling fluid to flow into the second line, a sample catch pump, and a controller configured to determine the amount of hydrogen sulfide is above a predetermined threshold value, and open the second entrance valve to divert drilling fluid intake from the first line to the second line, and close the first entrance valve to stop the drilling fluid from entering the first line.

The wireless transceivers may communicate using any wireless communication technology, including but not limited to Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, and BLE. A method for operating a drilling jar includes receiving, by a control unit comprising one or more transceivers configured to communicate wirelessly with a surface control unit, an activation signal from the surface control unit, and causing to activate the drilling jar in response to the activation signal.

An auto cleaning system for cleaning a drilling fluid in a drilling operation includes a first line, a second line, an auto clean pump operatively connected to the first line and the second line, and an electromagnetic device around at least a portion of the first line, wherein the electromagnetic device is energized when the drilling fluid is passing through the first line. The auto clean pump is configured to receive the drilling fluid from the first line or the second line and remove metal particles from the drilling fluid. The system also includes a controller configured to determine a pressure difference in a line, at least partially open a valve to divert drilling fluid intake from one line the other, and close the first entrance valve to stop the drilling fluid from entering the first line.
