A device () for transferring a pattern () from a stamp () to a substrate () comprises a table () for supporting a substrate (), a flexible stamp () and a movably arranged body () having a pressure chamber () for exerting pressure on a portion of the stamp (), so that the portion is pushed toward the substrate () and contacts the substrate (). During a pattern transferring process, the body () is moved. As a result, adjacent portions of the stamp () successively go through a process of being pushed toward the substrate (), getting in contact with the substrate (), and being allowed to move back in place again. In this way, it is achieved that the pattern () of the stamp () is transferred to the substrate (), without the introduction of vibrations, so that the transfer of the pattern () takes place in a highly accurate fashion.

Method and device for transferring a pattern from a stamp to a substrate

An optical separating filter separates impinging light into a first and a second part having different properties. The separating filter comprises reflective filters (FR) arranged in funnel shaped structures (F). Each one of the structures (F) have an inlet area (IA) to receive the impinging light (IL) and an outlet area (OA) smaller than the inlet area. (IA) to converge reflected impinging light (RL) towards the outlet area (OA). The structures (F) comprise a first group of funnel shaped structures (F) constructed to reflect light which has a first property (C) towards their respective first outlet areas (OA) and for transmitting light which has a second property (C) towards respective second outlet areas (OA).

Optical separating filter

The invention relates to a method for transferring a pattern from a stamping surface () of a stamp () to a receiving surface () of a substrate (). The pattern is transferred to the receiving surface () by successively bringing portions of the pattern within such a range of the receiving surface () during a certain period, that the pattern is locally transferred from the stamping surface () to the receiving surface (). The individual portions can be moved by means of individual actuators (). By applying the method, the transfer of the pattern can be performed according to a wave, which is for example ring-shaped, moving from the center of the receiving surface () to the circumference, or linear, moving from side of the receiving surface () to an opposite side.

Method and device for transferring a pattern from stamp to a substrate

According to the invention, the displacement of the housing controlled by the control unit ( ) includes a substantially cycloid movement brought about by a rolling movement of an imaginary rolling circle ( ) along an imaginary line of displacement ( ) of the housing over the surface, the imaginary rolling circle extending parallel to the surface ( ) and being fixed with respect to the housing ( ), and the suction nozzle ( ) being eccentrically arranged with respect to the rolling circle. As a result, the width of the track cleaned by the suction nozzle during the displacement of the robot along the line of displacement is considerably larger than the main dimension (W ) of the suction nozzle.
