A system and method for mapping of text events from multiple sources with camera outputs is provided. The system includes a CCTV keyboard for assigning each surveillance camera to one or more zones containing one or more point of transaction devices; a capture section for receiving data: from one of the one or more transaction devices when the capture section receives a data request command from the CCTV keyboard; and a CCTV switching system for displaying video: from the at least one or more surveillance cameras and data from the transaction device. The method assigns each surveillance camera to one or more zones containing one or more transaction devices; receives data: from one of the one or more transaction devices when the data request command is received; and displays video from the at least one or more surveillance cameras and data from the transaction device.

A system and method for mapping of text events from multiple sources with camera outputs is provided. The system includes a CCTV keyboard for assigning each surveillance camera to one or more zones containing one or more point of transaction devices; a capture section for receiving data from one of the one or more transaction devices when the capture section receives a data request command from the CCTV keyboard; and a CCTV switching system for displaying video from the at least one or more surveillance cameras and data from the transaction device. The inventive system and method for processing transactional data in a point of sale environment that has a video device, a POS terminal and an end recording device comprises a configuration tool, and a filtering unit having a filter comprising subfilters for filtering transactional data, such that the configuration tool creates the filter. The configuration tool can create and/or modify the filter based on user input, and this input can be through a web interface. In the alternative, the system also has at least one pre-defined set of rules accessible through a web interface, such that the configuration tool uses one of the pre-defined sets of rules to create the filter.

Process of sequentially dubbing a camera for investigation and review

A system and method for operator-side privacy zone masking of surveillance is provided. The system includes a video surveillance camera equipped with a coordinate engine for determining coordinates of a current field of view of the surveillance camera; and a frame encoder for embedding the determined coordinates with video frames of the current field of view. The system also includes a privacy zone information database for storing coordinates of predefined privacy zones; and a video viewing unit for viewing stored video frames. The video viewing unit is in communication with the frame storage unit and the privacy zone information database.

The inventive system and method for enabling interactive collaboration among video surveillance operators is presented. The device has a message including an incident or meta data having a source identifier, a meta data composer, a transport layer, and a display device, such that the message is packaged using the meta data composer and transmitted using the transport layer to the display device. One embodiment facilitates sharing using a common console, and the other facilitates sharing to one or more operators; both embodiments use a common Meta Data messaging mechanism. Meta data refers to any surveillance related data that is worthy of sharing between operators. It includes, but is not necessarily limited to, salvo information, camera, incident related data, video device location details, etc.

Intra operator forensic meta data messaging

This invention relates to using consumer devices, such as mobile telephones, to identify, authenticate, locate and contact users of security and asset management systems. Such consumer devices can be used not only with the security systems but also for other uses. A device is initially registered with the security system. As needed, the device is presented to the system for authentication, enabling a person access to a secure area. In addition, the system can determine the person's location in the secure area and can send information messages to the person as well as notifying the person in case of emergency.

Systems and methods for security and asset management

A system and method for providing digital video scan using 3-D geometry. The digital video scan system includes a 3-D scan scene maker for generating a plurality of video display units for displaying digital video data; a plurality of video producing devices producing a plurality of video feeds; a video scan sequencer receiving and organizing the plurality of video feeds into a predetermined order; a video rendering device rendering the digital video data from the plurality of video feeds for display within a separate one of the video display units; and video display apparatus displaying the digital video data from each video feed in the video display units. The plurality of video display units are positioned in a 3-D scene so that a plurality of video display units are at least partially viewable at the same time. Moreover, at intervals, the digital video data is incremented from one video display unit to another thus allowing an observer to view each digital video data in a foreground position. Furthermore, the observer is provided with a video data selector allowing the operator to select digital video data in one video display unit and move the selected digital video data to another video display unit.
