(1) A configuration management in a management server is carried out such that setting patterns regarding creation of plural types of virtual resources and setting patterns regarding connection between the plural types of virtual resources are extracted from setting information of network devices configuring a virtual network by using plural types of virtualization technologies, (2) an ID required for creating a virtual resource and a connection relation between virtual resources are extracted from the extracted setting pattern, (3) an element corresponding to a virtual resource or a connection between a pair of virtual resources is created by using information including the extracted ID, and (4) the elements created from setting information of individual devices are aggregated to thereby create logical topology information representing a topology of the virtual network.

Configuration management method of logical topology in virtual network and management server

To identify a logical topology of each virtual network among logical topologies of a plurality of virtual networks configured in physical devices. A management server includes a controller for managing logical topology information of all virtual networks each of which includes a plurality of virtual resources configured in a plurality of physical devices coupled to a network; wherein the controller: searches the logical topology of all the virtual networks from the entire virtual network based on the information of branch point resource which is a kind of virtual resource for mutually coupling the plurality of virtual networks and constitutes a branch point for each virtual network; extracts a series of virtual resources that terminates at the branch point resource; and identifies the series of extracted virtual resources as a partial topology, which eventually represents the topology of a virtual network inside the entire virtual network.

Management server and management method

In a multi-tenant information processing system, when initially constructing a tenant, design items depending on the tenant are specified for each device constituting the tenant, and design values of the design items are calculated without overlapping with those of other tenants. In a tenant design item management table, the design items set for the devices and information indicating whether the design items depend on the tenant, are stored for each device. In a design algorithm management table, calculation formulae for making the design values to be different for each tenant are stored corresponding to the design items. A tenant design unit refers to the tenant design item management table, specifies the design items depending on the tenant among those corresponding to the devices constituting the tenant, calculates the design values of the design items according to the calculation formula, when initially constructing the tenant.

Multi-tenant information processing system, management server, and configuration management method

In a system including a load balancer to select a virtual server to which a request is to be transferred, the load balancer includes a function to monitor resource use states of physical and virtual servers and a function to predict a packet loss occurring in a virtual switch. The request count of requests processible by each virtual server is calculated based on the resource amount available for the virtual server and a packet loss rate of the virtual switch, to thereby select a virtual server capable of processing a larger number of requests.

Load balancer and load balancing system

A transmit-side transmission control device for sending data generated by a data generator device to a data utilization point receives and retains notification of the allowable data transmission quantity from a receive-side transmission control device, and adjusts the data quantity sent from the data generator device so as to fit within that allowable data transmission quantity range, and/or when a request is issued to change that data transmission quantity, the receive-side transmission control device is notified of that allowable data transmission quantity change request. The receive-side transmission control device retains the respective allowable data transmission quantities for transmit-side transmission control device, and when a change request is issued, reallocates the allowable data transmission quantities for all transmit-side transmission control devices to fit within the data processing load range stored beforehand within the data utilization point, and notifies the corresponding transmit-side transmission control device of these reallocated allowable data transmission quantities.

Data acquisition system and transmission control device

A method is provided for collecting a small blood sample by painlessly puncturing a finger. When the skin of a human being is punctured by a needle or another device at the depth that does not exceed 0.5 mm, pain accompanying the puncture is diminished or decreased. Regardless of an error in the depth of the puncture, the depth of puncture must not exceed this depth. The puncture site is located on the dorsal surface of a finger, in the area from the finger joint (IP joint of thumb, DIP joint of fingers other than thumb) to the proximal nail wall and the area extending from the proximal nail wall to the lateral nail wall.

Painless blood-collecting method

The video receiving device delivers reproducible video streams by synchronizing video images. The video delivering device determines the delivery time for each RTP packet based on the time information for plural video streams corresponding to plural contents, adds the determined delivery time (timestamp) to each RTP packet, and delivers RTP packets by using the counter common among plural contents. The video relaying device corrects the transfer timing for RTP packets based on the counter common among plural contents and the delivery time (timestamp) and sends them to the video receiving device. The video receiving device plays back the video images from the received RTP packets.
