A stent holder for securely holding a drug eluting stent (DES) during a real-time or an accelerated in-vitro drug release test of a therapeutic substance contained in or on the DES. The holder has a retainer portion and a wire portion separable from the retainer. The holder has a narrowed or reduced profile resulting in less disruptive flow in and around the stent during the accelerated in-vitro drug release test.

An apparatus and method for transdermally delivering a biologically active agent comprising a delivery system having a microprojection member (or system) that includes a plurality of microprojections (or array thereof) that are adapted to pierce through the stratum corneum into the underlying epidermis layer, or epidermis and dermis layers.
