An arrangement for supplying an additive to a fuel-injected air compressing internal combustion engine. The arrangement includes a feeding device arranged at an inlet or intake of the internal combustion engine and a load and/or speed dependent metering device is provided which controls the supply of the additive to the feeding device.

Additive means for an air compressing internal combustion engine

An internal combustion engine with applied ignition, preferably with a warm-up controller for a continuously operating fuel injection, in which the control pressure of the fuel injection is discontinuously controllable in dependence on different parameters with one or several jumps in the characteristic curve.

Internal combustion engine with externally controlled ignition

A method and apparatus for controlling a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine by connecting or disconnecting one or several of the cylinders with a throttling device provided in the suction system of the internal combustion engine; simultaneously with the connection or disconnection of the cylinder or cylinders, the position of the throttling device is so changed jump-like that the output of the internal combustion engine remains essentially unchanged.
