A new and distinct variety of Hybrid Tea rose plant is provided which abundantly and continuously forms attractive double blossoms which are turkey red on the upper surface and cardinal red on the under surface. Such blossoms are long lasting. The plant exhibits an erect growth habit, very vigorous vegetation, and is well suited for growing in parks and gardens. Additionally, the plant is not particularly affected by cryptogamic diseases.

Rose plant--Meicauf variety

A new and distinct variety of rose plant of the Miniature Class is provided which forms abundantly and continuously highly attractive fully double blossoms. The blossoms are carmine rose in coloration. The plant exhibits a vigorous, compact and bushy growth habit, and is not particularly affected by cryptogamic diseases.

Rose plant-Meitonje variety

A new and distinct variety of shrub rose plant is provided which forms attractive semi-double dark carmine pink blossoms. The blossoms are formed abundantly and continuously and possess firm petals which detach cleanly. The vegetation is vigorous. The new variety is not particularly affected by crytogamic diseases, and is well suited for use as ornamentation in parks and gardens.

Rose plant--Meigeroka variety

A new and distinct variety of shrub rose plant is provided which forms in the spring multiple attractive very double white blossoms per stem. The variety exhibits a semi-prostrate growth habit, and excellent resistance to diseases. An excellent aptitude for rooting and growing on its own roots is exhibited. The new variety is well adapted for growing as a landscape planting.

Rose plant--Meiflopan variety

A new and distinct variety of Hybrid Tea rose plant is provided which forms abundantly and continuously attractive very double neyron pink blossoms which possess a long vase life. The blossoms exhibit a pleasing fragrance and initially possess a globular configuration. The petals are serrated and drop off cleanly. The plant is not particularly affected by cryptogamic diseases.

Rose plant--Meivildo variety

A new and distinct variety of climbing shrub rose plant is provided which forms attractive very double creamy white blossoms which exhibit an ancient rose shape and are edged with carmine pink. The new variety exhibits vigorous vegetation and reflowers well during the summer. Excellent resistance to frost is present. The new variety is well adapted for growing as a landscape planting.

Rose plant--Meiviolin variety

A new and distinct variety of rose plant of the Miniature Climbing Class is provided which forms in abundance attractive double bright vermilion red blossoms. The climbing and vigorous vegetation of the new variety provides attractive ornamentation for parks and gardens. The blossoms are formed throughout the plant and are particularly long lasting.

Rose plant -- Meiji Katarsar variety

A new and distinct variety of rose plant of the Miniature Class is provided which forms in abundance highly attractive bicolored very double blossoms. The blossoms are white in coloration and bear bengal rose edges. The plant has glossy foliage, reflowers well, and forms blossoms having an umbrella configuration when fully open. The central petals tend to be tapered and small. The new variety is particularly well suited for use as attractive ornamentation when grown as a flowering pot plant either indoors or outdoors.

A new and distinct variety of rose plant of the Miniature Class is provided which forms abundantly and continuously highly attractive semi-double blossoms. The blossoms are light ochre yellow on the upper surface and pale buttercup yellow on the under surface. The plant is well suited for pot forcing and forms attractive ornamentation when grown as a flowering pot plant either indoors or outdoors.

Rose plant -- Meiponal variety

A new and distinct variety of Hybrid Tea rose plant is provided which forms in abundance distinctive elegant well-formed semi-double neyron pink blossoms of long vase life. The plant exhibits vigorous vegatation and is well suited for cut flower production. Good resistance to fungal diseases is manifest.

Rose plant -- Meiplovon variety

A new and distinct variety of Hybrid Tea rose plant is provided which forms abundantly and continuously elegant double intensely golden yellow blossoms which possess a long vase life. The plant exhibits vigorous vegetation and is well suited for forcing and cut flower production. Such blooming continues well during the winter under greenhouse conditions. The plant is not particularly affected by cryptogamic diseases.

A new and distinct variety of rose plant of the Miniature Class is provided which forms in abundance highly attractive bicolored semi-double blossoms. The blossoms are whitish in coloration and are suffused at the margins with cardinal pink. The plant is very low and dense and reflowers well. It is particularly well suited for use as attractive ornamentation when grown as a flowering pot plant either indoors or outdoors.

Rose plant--Meibarke variety

A new and distinct variety of shrub rose plant is provided which forms in moderation attractive single white blossoms. The variety exhibits an extremely rapid growth habit and forms arching canes which become horizontal as the plant matures. An excellent aptitude for rooting and growing on its own roots is exhibited. The new variety is well adapted for growing as a landscape planting.
