Provided herein is a novel process for producing shaped catalyst bodies in which a mixture having aluminum contents of Alin the range from 80 to 99.8% by weight, based on the mixture used, is used to form a specific intermetallic phase, shaped catalyst bodies obtainable by the process of the invention, a process for producing an active catalyst fixed bed including the shaped catalyst bodies provided herein, the active catalyst fixed beds and also the use of these active catalyst fixed beds for the hydrogenation of organic hydrogenatable compounds or for formate degradation.

Method for producing a shaped catalyst body

The present invention relates to a process for the conversion of 2-aminoethanol to ethane-1,2-diamine and/or linear polyethylenimines of the formula HN&#x2014;[CHCHNH]&#x2014;CHCHNHwherein n&#x2265;1 comprising: (i) providing a catalyst comprising a zeolitic material having the MOR framework structure comprising YOand XO, wherein Y is a tetravalent element and X is a trivalent element, said zeolitic material containing copper as extra-framework ions; (ii) providing a gas stream comprising 2-aminoethanol and ammonia; (iii) contacting the catalyst provided in (i) with the gas stream provided in (ii) for converting 2-aminoethanol to ethane-1,2-diamine and/or linear polyethylenimines.

The present invention relates to a process for the conversion of ethane-1,2-diol to ethane-1,2-diamine and/or linear polyethylenimines of the formula HN&#x2014;[CHCHNH]&#x2014;CHCHNHwherein n&#x2265;1 comprising (i) providing a catalyst comprising a zeolitic material comprising YOand XO, wherein Y is a tetravalent element and X is a trivalent element, wherein the zeolitic material is selected from the group consisting of zeolitic materials having the MOR, FAU, CHA and/or GME framework structure, including combinations of two or more thereof; (ii) providing a gas stream comprising ethane-1,2-diol and ammonia; (iii) contacting the catalyst provided in (i) with the gas stream provided in (ii) for converting ethane-1,2-diol to ethane-1,2-diamine and/or linear polyethylenimines.

Process for the conversion of ethylene glycol to ethylenediamine employing a zeolite catalyst

Method for producing ethanolamines and/or ethyleneamines

A process for preparing aminopolycarboxylates proceeding from the corresponding polyalkanolamines by oxidative dehydrogenation in the presence of a catalyst comprising 1 to 90% by weight of copper, based on the total weight of the catalyst, using a base, which comprises first performing a partial conversion of the polyalkanolamine to a reaction mixture comprising the aminopolycarboxylate at a temperature in the range from 140 to 180&#xb0; C. until at least 10 to 90 mol% of the polyalkanolamine has been depleted, and then continuing the conversion at elevated temperature.
