The invention relates to a fluid meter () comprising a housing () defining at least one crankcase () and two cylinders (), a crankshaft () disposed in the crankcase (), two pistons () respectively mounted in the cylinders () for reciprocal movement, a first connecting rod () connected to one of the pistons () and to the crankshaft () for rotating the crankshaft () in response to the movement of the one piston (), and a second connecting rod () connected to the other piston () and to the crankshaft () for rotating the crankshaft () in response to the movement of the other piston (), wherein the first and second connecting rods () have yoke slots () for receiving a crank pin () radially offset from the crankshaft (). The invention is characterized in that the first connecting rod () has a guiding rod () extending in a longitudinal direction of the cylinders, the guiding rod () being adapted to engage a corresponding cavity () in the second connecting rod () to support and guide the connecting rods () in relation to each other during movement. The invention further relates to a multiple fluid meter assembly () comprising at least two fluid meters () as defined above, and to a fuel dispensing unit comprising a fluid meter () or a multiple fluid meter () as defined above.

Fluid meter with improved piston guidance

A connection arrangement is provided for mechanically and fluidly connecting a fuel filter to a fluid meter in a fuel dispenser, and a method is provided for assembly of the connection arrangement. The connection arrangement can include a first part, a second part and a filter holding part, all parts being connected along a common centre axis. The first part can include an outlet, a first connection interface, an inlet, and a second connection interface. The second part can include a third connection interface and a fourth connection interface. The filter holding part can include an outlet and a fifth connection interface. The second part can be adjustable to move the connection arrangement between an unlocked state and a locked state.

Connection arrangement and method for assembling the same

A hose connection is provided for a fuel dispensing unit. The hose connection includes a pipe for transporting fuel from a fuel reservoir, a hose for transporting fuel to a motor vehicle, an intermediate member adapted to connect the hose with the pipe, and a locking device fixed to the fuel dispensing unit adapted to interlock the pipe and the intermediate member. The hose connection is secured in relation to the fuel dispensing unit. A fuel dispensing unit including such hose connection is also provided.

A fluid meter is described having certain elastically displaceable wall portions arranged to be elastically displaced in response to a pressure variation propagating into the measurement volume.

Fluid meter with pressure protection

A fluid pump for a fuel dispensing unit comprises a pump housing with a first chamber and a second chamber, each chamber having a fluid inlet valve and a fluid outlet valve, respectively. The chambers are separated by a movable piston arranged to repeatedly decrease and increase the volumes of the chambers. The piston comprises a magnetic device, and an electromagnetic control configured to move the piston by altering a magnetic field, for repeatedly decreasing and increasing the volume of the chambers. A controllable fluid flow passage connected to first chamber and to the second chamber that allows fluid to pass from the first chamber to the second chamber without passing through the any of the fluid inlet valves or the fluid outlet valves so that when there is a flow of fuel from the first chamber to the second chamber via the fluid flow passage and when the piston moves towards the first side the first outlet valve and the second inlet valve remain closed during operation.

Fluid pump and fuel dispenser

The invention relates to a hose connection for a fuel dispensing unit. The hose connection comprises a pipe for transporting fuel from a fuel reservoir, a hose for transporting fuel to a motor vehicle, an intermediate member adapted to connect said hose with said pipe, and a locking device fixed to said fuel dispensing unit adapted to interlock said pipe and said intermediate member. The hose connection is secured in relation to said fuel dispensing unit. The invention also relates to a fuel dispensing unit comprising such hose connection.

A fluid meter is described having multiple pistons and connecting rods that are connected to the crankshaft by one common crankpin that is radially offset from the crankshaft such that an axis through the endpoints of the yoke slot of one connecting rod forms an angle alpha with the alignment axis of the two axially aligned cylinders, and that an axis through the endpoints of the yoke slot of the other connecting rod forms another, different angle beta with said alignment axis, so that the corresponding pistons reciprocate out of phase.

A multiple piston type fluid meter is disclosed having a first connecting rod and a second connecting rod that are integral with their respective pistons. A multiple fluid meter assembly comprising at least two fluid meters, and a fuel dispensing unit comprising a fluid meter or multiple fluid meters are also disclosed.

A fluid meter is described having a housing with housing walls defining a measurement volume, an inlet to connect the measurement volume to a fuel reservoir, and an outlet to connect the measurement volume to a fuel dispensing hose, wherein the housing walls may comprise one or more elastically displaceable wall portions arranged to be elastically displaced in response to a pressure variation propagating into the measurement volume.

A vapor recovery system recovers fuel vapor and includes a vapor recovery line for transporting a stream of fuel vapor from a vehicle tank. A flow meter is arranged in the vapor recovery line for indicating the flow rate of the stream of fuel vapor, and a heated element is arranged in the vapor recovery line. One or more controllers are configured to: detect a cooling exerted on the heated element by the stream of fuel vapor, determine a correction for the detected cooling by weighting said cooling with the flow rate, and decrease or stop the stream of fuel vapor, if the detected cooling is smaller than a predetermined level.
