A cosmetic composition and a method for preparing the cosmetic composition are provided. The cosmetic composition includes an aqueous phase and oil phase. The aqueous phase comprises at least one water soluble ingredient including at least one non-ionic surfactant. The oil phase comprises a transformative agent, at least one thickener and at least one solvent. The transformative agent comprising at least 1% of at least one butter and at least 1% of at least one oil, the transformative agent having a butter to oil ratio of from about 2:5 to about 9:10. The cosmetic composition has a transformative texture.

Cosmetic compositions providing for a transformative texture

Skin-tightening compositions for providing a physical tightening effect to the skin and methods for using the same. The compositions may be in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion and include about 0.1 wt. % to about 6 wt. % of sodium silicate; at least 3 wt. % to about 11.5 wt. % of magnesium aluminum silicate; about 1 wt. % to about 15 wt. % of one or more fatty compounds; about 0.1 to about 20 wt. % of one or more nonionic emulsifiers; about 1 to about 25 wt. % of one or more polyols; and about 50 to about 90 wt. % of water, wherein the weight percentages are based on the total weight of the composition. The weight ratio of the sodium silicate to magnesium aluminum silicate is from 0.08 to 1.0 and a total amount of sodium silicate and magnesium aluminum silicate is 3 wt. % to 13 wt. %.

Skin-tightening composition

The instant disclosure relates to a composition for topical application to the skin comprising a first pearlescent uncoated pigment having an average particle size of 25 um or less; a second pearlescent pigment having an average particle size of 25 um or less, completely or partially coated with one or more layers of metal oxides; a first mica having an average size of 42 um or less, completely or partially coated with one or more layers of red iron oxide; and a second mica having an average size of 25 um or less, completely or partially coated with one or more layers of titanium dioxide. It also relates to methods of using said compositions.

Pigment compositions

Skin-tightening compositions and methods for using the same, which provide a long-lasting skin-tightening effect and a mattifying finishing effect are described. The skin-tightening composition may be in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion and comprise one or more polyvalent silicates; one or more cellulose thickeners; one or more clays selected from hectorite and organically modified hectorites; one or more polysaccharide film forming agents; one or more polyols; one or more acrylate polymers; and water. The skin-tightening compositions are useful for improving the appearance of skin, especially skin of the neck and face.

The present disclosure relates to cosmetic compositions that provide immediate skin-tightening and long-lasting improvements to the skin for the treatment of, for example, eye bags, facial wrinkles, and other age-related skin imperfections. The compositions comprise: (a) a first film former sodium silicate; (b) a second film former; (c) at least one polyvalent silicate; (d) at least one anionic associative polymeric thickener; (e) a third film former VP/VA Copolymer; (f) at least two plasticizer; (g) at least one treated or non treated iron oxide pigments; and (h) optionally at least one cosmetic powder.
