A method for transferring a signal between a calculator device having a USB connector and a remote device is described. The method includes: connecting the calculator device with the remote device using the USB connector; transmitting a signal from the remote device to the calculator device using the USB connector; and receiving the transmitted signal from the remote device. A calculator device having a USB connector is described. The calculator device includes a processor for executing one or more instructions, a memory connected with the processor and storing data and instructions for execution by the processor, and a USB connector connected with the processor and connectable to a remote device for transferring a signal between the calculator device and the remote device. The calculator device is responsive to a signal received over the USB connector.

A screen controller for providing the display of images on a computer display in a programmatic manner, the images in one example originating from web sites of the Internet providing real time images from web cameras. In one embodiment, a method for displaying images on a display provides a user with one or more web sites to select, each web site having an image therein. The user's selection of the one or more web sites are stored, and the user is provided with a control to specify a time range during which each image of each web site is to be accessed. During the time range specified, the web site is accessed to obtain the image, and the image is displayed on the display.

A wireless notification apparatus, system and method provide notifications to a user relating to e-mails, voice messages, meeting and calendar reminders, or any combination thereof, when the user is away from the user's desk, computer, workstation, or the like. The notification system may include a notification device and a base station. The notification device may have a microprocessor, a display for displaying data, and a wireless receiver for receiving wireless data, the microprocessor coupled with the display and the wireless receiver. The base station may include a wireless transmitter for transmitting data to the wireless receiver when an event has occurred at the user's desk. In this manner, the wireless notification system provides time sensitive data&#x2014;such as meeting reminders, calendar reminders, voice message information, or email information&#x2014;to the intended recipient even when the intended recipient is away from his or her desk.

Apparatus, system, and method for wireless notifications

The present invention includes a system and method for facilitating financial transactions including a device configured to interface with a multi-use card, using information from a multi-use card to access a database that includes account information for accounts at multiple financial institutions, presenting the associated account information to a user, accepting a selection from the user of a selected account and posting the charges onto the selected account.
