The invention is based on a protective hood fastening device having a fastening element (-) for fastening a protective hood (-) which is intended for partly enclosing a rotating application tool on a body (-) of an electric tool (-). It is proposed that the fastening element (-) comprise at least one latching element (-) for locking the protective hood (-) against rotation relative to the body (-) of the electric tool (-).

Guard attachment device

A portable power tool, in particular an angle grinder (), includes a longitudinal housing () for accommodating a motor for driving a driven shaft () that is outwardly bent relative to the housing (), the driven shaft being rotatably supported in a gearbox casing () and extending out of it with a free end that is provided to accommodate a sanding body.
