A tread portion includes a crown land portion including first and second longitudinal edges extending in the tire circumferential direction. The crown land portion is provided with first, second and third crown sipes. The first, second and third crown sipes open at the ground contact surface via respective chamfer portions. The first and third crown sipes extend from the first longitudinal edge and have closed ends in the ground contact surface. The second crown sipes extend from the second longitudinal edge and have closed ends in the ground contact surface. Each first crown sipe has a constant opening width in a longitudinal direction of the sipe. Each second crown sipe has a constant opening width in a longitudinal direction of the sipe. Each third crown sipe has an opening width which decreases continuously from the first longitudinal edge toward the closed end thereof.

Tire

A tire includes a tread portion includes circumferential grooves and a land portion divided by the circumferential grooves. The land portion has a ground contacting surface provided with first blind grooves, second blind grooves, first connecting sipes, second connecting sipes, and transverse sipes. The transverse sipes include first portions extending from a first circumferential edge with an inclination, second portions extending from the second circumferential edge and inclined in a same direction as with the inclination of the first portions, and third portions connecting the first and second portions with an inclination at a different angle from that of the inclination the first and second portions. In a plan view of the tread portion, the first portions overlap projection regions in which the respective first connecting sipes or the respective second connecting sipes are expanded parallel to the tire axial direction.

A tire includes a first land portion with a ground contacting surface provided with inclined sipes inclined in a first direction to the tire axial direction. The inclined sipes include first and second inclined sipes arranged adjacently in the tire circumferential direction. Each first inclined sipe includes a first deep-bottom portion located on a first circumferential edge side, and a first shallow-bottom portion located on a second circumferential edge side and having a smaller depth than the first deep-bottom portion. Each second inclined sipe includes a second deep-bottom portion located on the second circumferential edge side, and a second shallow-bottom portion located on the first circumferential edge side and having a smaller depth than the second deep-bottom portion. Each second deep-bottom portion is arranged so as to overlap a projection region in which a respective first deep-bottom portion is expanded parallel to the tire axial direction.

The tread portionincludes a first shoulder land portion. The first shoulder land portionhas shoulder lateral groovesand shoulder composite grooves. The shoulder lateral groovesand the shoulder composite groovesare each curved so as to be convex in a tire circumferential direction. Each shoulder composite grooveincludes, in a cross section thereof, a sipe elementhaving a width not greater than 1.5 mm and extending from a tread surface of the first shoulder land portionin a tire radial direction, and a groove elementconnected to an inner side in the tire radial direction of the sipe elementand having a width greater than 1.5 mm.

Tire for automobile

A tyre has a tread portion. The tread portion includes a land region defined between a first edge extending in a tyre circumferential direction and a second edge extending in the tyre circumferential direction. The land region is provided with a first lateral groove extending from the first edge toward the second edge and terminating within the land region, a vertical groove connected with the first lateral groove, extending in the tyre circumferential direction, and having both end portions terminating within the land region, and a sipe connected with the vertical groove and extending therefrom toward the second edge.

A tyre has a tread portion. The tread portion has a land region divided by a first edge and a second edge extending in a tyre circumferential direction. The land region is provided with a plurality of sipes each extending between the first edge and the second edge. The plurality of the sipes includes inclined sipes and bent sipes. Each of the bent sipes includes first inclined elements inclined in the first direction with respect to the tyre axial direction and a second inclined element inclined in a direction opposite to the first inclined elements with respect to the tyre axial direction. Each of the inclined sipes is configured to have a depth larger at a center portion thereof than at both end portions thereof. Each of the bent sipes is configured to have a depth smaller at a center portion thereof than at both end portions thereof.

Tyre

A tire includes a tread portion being provided with a crown main groove and a shoulder main groove to form a middle land portion therebetween. The middle land portion is provided with a plurality of middle lateral grooves to divide the middle land portion into a plurality of middle blocks. The plurality of middle lateral grooves includes a plurality of first middle lateral grooves each including a first inner inclined element extending from the crown main groove and inclined with respect to a tire axial direction, a first outer inclined element extending from the shoulder main groove and inclined with respect to the tire axial direction in a same direction as the first inner inclined element, and a first intermediate inclined element connecting the first inner inclined element with the first outer inclined element and inclined in an opposite direction to the first inner inclined element.
