A method and apparatus for generating three-dimensional decoration on a substrate. Controlled deposition of the decoration material on the substrate is achieved through formation and manipulation of an ink droplet at the end of a dispensing nozzle. The ink droplet is maintained by coordinating the delivery rate of the ink through the dispensing nozzle with the dispensing nozzle height and velocity. The ink droplet is optimally maintained to provide a controlled wetting of the substrate surface for deposition of a wide variety of inks.

Three-dimensional plotter

A reactor and method for the treatment of matter by plasma action. A plurality of electrode structures are positioned to define a reaction zone associated with the inter-electrode space. The inter-electrode space is conditioned (as by preionizing) and a series of discrete electrical discharges are produced throughout the reaction zone. In a preferred embodiment, the reaction zone is subjected to a sequence of discrete electrical discharges in a time interval less than the residence time of material to be treated within the reaction zone.
