The disclosure relates to a housing for electrical components and to a method for connecting a housing body to a housing cover. The housing includes the housing body. The base plate supports components arranged thereon. The housing also includes the housing cover which is fastened to the base plate by way of crimp tabs. The crimp tabs are bent over in such a way that the housing cover is interlockingly connected to the housing body. The disclosure also relates a method for connecting the housing to the housing cover. An edge region of the base plate projects beyond the contact surface of the housing body, where crimp tabs that have been bent over lie against the contact surface. Some of the crimp tabs may be designed as extended crimp tabs that partially extend around horizontal body surfaces of the housing body, which lies on the base plate.

Housing for electrical components and method for connecting a housing body to a housing cover

An electrical connection is formed of a plug outside a housing and a circuit carrier inside the housing. The plug includes at least one plug contact and an end face in the direction of the housing wall. The circuit carrier includes a receptacle for a plug contact. The plug contact protrudes through an opening in the housing wall in order to establish the electrical connection. The cross-sectional surface of the opening is smaller than the end face of the plug, the end face completely covers the opening and the circuit carrier at least partially covers the opening.

Electrical connection

An electrolytic capacitor module for installation in a housing of a motor vehicle control device, a method for producing an LC module and a corresponding motor vehicle control device with an electrolytic capacitor module. The electrolytic capacitor module includes a cylindrical electrolytic capacitor with a capacitor can and a cover at each end of the can. The covers secure a capacitor winding inside the capacitor can. The electrolytic capacitor module also has a support plate with a chamber for accommodating the electrolytic capacitor. The capacitor can has at least one opening and, on the inside of the electrolytic capacitor, the interstice between the inner wall of the capacitor can and the capacitor winding is at least partially filled with casting compound. The capacitor is at least partially surrounded by the same casting compound on the outside thereof in the region of the chamber.

Electrolytic capacitor module with high resistance to vibration

An LC module for installation in a housing of a motor vehicle control device, a method for producing an LC module and a corresponding motor vehicle control device having an LC module. The LC module has a support plate, at least one electrolytic capacitor and a coil. The electrolytic capacitor and the coil are disposed in chambers of the LC module and are at least partially surrounded by casting compound. Furthermore, the support plate has a connecting part between the two chambers, the support plate being form-fittingly or frictionally connectable to the housing of the control device at least in the region of the connecting part.
