A side sill for a motor vehicle has a side-sill inner part assigned to a floor assembly, a bottom flange and a side-sill outer part which bounds a cavity of the side sill, in which a reinforcing part, which is fastened to the side-sill inner part, is arranged. In order to provide a side sill which is optimized in respect of simple manufacturing and installation and also needs-oriented design, and by which improved adaptability of the components to different construction variants is possible, the side-sill inner part and the bottom flange are designed as separate components which are connected to each other at least indirectly along a flange connection running in the direction of longitudinal extent of the side sill.

Side sill for a motor vehicle

A motor vehicle has a drive battery which is accommodated in a drive battery housing. The drive battery housing is arranged and fastened on a floor structure, in particular on an underside, of a body of the motor vehicle. The drive battery housing has a lateral, in particular a left-hand and a right-hand, outer housing carrier structure which is arranged below, in particular left-hand and right-hand, side sills of the body in such a way that a first collision load path in a vehicle transverse direction, which is formed (substantially only) by the side sills and the floor structure of the body, and a second collision load path in a vehicle transverse direction, which is formed (substantially only) by the drive battery housing, are (substantially) completely separate from one another.

A method for integrating a high-voltage accumulator having at least one accumulator module into a support structure of a motor vehicle, wherein the following is performed: providing a housing part, which has a base plate and a frame-like edge extending around the base plate; arranging the at least one accumulator module on the housing part and/or on the support structure; arranging the edge of the housing part below and on a frame structure formed of supports of the support structure; and fastening the housing part to the support structure. An accumulator housing for the at least one accumulator module is thus formed. A housing interior of the accumulator housing is delimited by a bottom part of the support structure, which bottom part covers the frame structure toward a passenger compartment of the motor vehicle, and by the housing part and the frame structure.

For improved attachment of an energy accumulator to an underbody of a motor vehicle, an attachment device has a top side that is designed to be attached to the underbody via attachment fasteners and an underside that is designed to be connected to a top side of the energy accumulator. The underside of the attachment device and the top side of the energy accumulator are integrally bonded by an adhesive at least in a region remote from outer edges of the top side of the energy accumulator.

ISOFIX systems are used for fastening child seats in a motor vehicle. A motor vehicle is provided in which the ISOFIX restraint systems have adequate crash safety despite being longer than customary ISOFIX securing clamps. This is achieved in that at least individual ISOFIX securing clamps have an overall length lying within a range of 50 mm to 120 mm, and a reinforcing component is mounted on each ISOFIX securing clamp at a body-side end of each ISOFIX securing clamp. Each reinforcing component has a height which corresponds to a length of longitudinal portions of each ISOFIX securing clamp, and a body-side portion of the longitudinal portions of each ISOFIX securing clamp is supported by each reinforcing component.
