A method for providing a corrected dataset includes receiving a preoperative dataset containing an image and/or a model of an examination region of an examination subject. Length information is received. At least a part of a medical object is arranged intraoperatively in the examination region. First positioning information relating to a virtual positioning of a predefined section of the part of the medical object arranged in the examination region is determined based on the preoperative dataset and the length information. The method includes receiving and/or determining second positioning information relating to a real positioning of the predefined section. A method for providing a collision model includes detecting an item of patient information that has an item of information on a spatial placement of an entry point of a medical object into an object undergoing examination. The item of patient information is registered with a movable medical device. The method also includes detecting an item of object information that has an item of information on a geometry and spatial position of a manipulator for moving the medical object. The manipulator includes a motion device and/or a member of technical medical personnel. A relative placement of the manipulator in relation to the object undergoing examination is determined based on the item of patient information and the item of object information. The collision model is provided for the purpose of moving the medical device based on the relative placement and the item of object information.

For particularly good communication even with difficult patients, a monitoring system for monitoring a patient, such as during a medical diagnostic or therapeutic procedure, is provided. The monitoring system includes a voice cloning device having a voice generator. The voice cloning device is configured to replace a natural voice of a person with a cloned synthetic voice different from the voice of the person. At least two synthetic voices may be selected. Adapting an augmented and/or virtual reality

A system and method for deformation simulation of a hollow organ able to be deformed by the introduction of a medical instrument. The method includes provision of a pre-trained machine-learning algorithm, provision of a 3D medical recording of the hollow organ with surrounding tissue, with the 3D recording having been recorded before the introduction of a medical instrument, segmentation or provision of a segmentation of the 3D medical recording of the hollow organ and establishment or provision of a three-dimensional model of the hollow organ, provision of information about a medical instrument introduced or to be introduced, and simulation of the deformation of the hollow organ to be expected from introduction of the instrument on the basis of the segmented 3D medical recording of the hollow organ and of the surrounding tissue and of the information about the instrument by using the pre-trained machine-learning algorithm.

Method for deformation simulation and apparatus

An angiographic examination method for depicting a target region as an examination object using an angiography system includes capturing a volume data set of the target region with the examination object, registering the volume data set to a C-arm, and extracting information about an assumed course of the examination object in the volume data set. The method also includes generating a 2D projection image of a medical instrument in the target region, 2D/3D merging the 2D projection image and the registered volume data set for generating a 2D overlay image, and detecting the instrument in the 2D overlay image with a first projection matrix. The method includes generating a virtual 2D projection using a virtual projection matrix, 3D reconstructing the instrument, and distorting at least part of the reference image such that the current and the assumed course of vessels are made to be congruent.

The disclosure relates to a method and a system for generating an enriched image of a target object and to a corresponding computer program and a computer-readable storage medium, on which the computer program is stored. In the method, image data of the target object is acquired. Furthermore, tactile data is acquired for the target object, which characterizes a mechanical resistance of at least one section of the target object against a force applied thereto. The enriched image is then generated by merging the image data and the tactile data and/or a classification of the respective section derived therefrom.

A method for deformation correction includes receiving a preoperative 3D image data set from an examination region of an examination object, generating a segmented 3D image data set by segmenting an anatomical structure in the preoperative 3D image data set, and acquiring image data from the examination region. A medical object is arranged in the examination region. The medical object is identified in the image data, and the segmented 3D image data set is registered with the image data. An overlay data set is generated and displayed based on the segmented 3D image data set and the image data. A position of a deviation between the image data and the segmented 3D image data set is defined, and a deformation rule is determined for the reduction of the deviation between the image data and the segmented 3D image data set. The corrected overlay data set is generated and provided.

Method for deformation correction

The disclosure relates to a method and also to a correspondingly configured imaging device for planning support for an interventional procedure. In the method, a model of a hollow organ is created from a 3D image dataset. A deformation of the hollow organ is then simulated based on a course of a guide facility in the hollow organ through a deformation of the model. In accordance with the deformed model, a spatially resolved compression and/or stretching of the hollow organ, which is brought about by an introduction of the guide facility, is determined and specified.

Planning support for an interventional procedure

A method and analysis devices for classifying tissue samples are provided. In the method, annotated training data is generated from a known positive tissue sample and a known negative tissue sample from a patient, and the annotated training data is then used to train an automatic classifier patient-specifically. To delimit an affected tissue region of the patient, then, unknown tissue samples from the same patient are classified by the automatic classifier trained for the patient.

A method for acquiring and processing image data of an examination object is provided. A three-dimensional bone model and a three-dimensional blood vessel model are provided. A two-dimensional, first X-ray image and a two-dimensional, second X-ray image of the examination region are acquired having a same image geometry. The first X-ray image is subtracted from the second X-ray image to provide a subtraction image. A first intermediate registration of the first X-ray image is determined in relation to the bone model, and a second intermediate registration of the subtraction image is determined in relation to the blood vessel model. A transformation function that images the first intermediate registration onto the second intermediate registration is determined. A third X-ray image of the examination region is acquired. A bone registration of the third X-ray image in relation to the bone model is determined.
