A recycling secondary reservoir of a hydraulic system is charged with clean fluid from a primary hydraulic circuit. The secondary reservoir maintains clean fluid for use by a backup pump to cycle a hydraulic device. The secondary reservoir recaptures fluid used by the backup pump to maintain clean fluid that can be reused an indefinite number of times.

An electrohydraulic valve system for controlling a braking system of a work machine includes a valve body forming a bore and a fluid channel, and a valve spool disposed within the bore and in fluid communication with the fluid channel. The valve spool includes at least a first land and a second land. An armature is positioned with respect to the valve spool to move the valve spool axially within the bore between a first position and a second position. A spring is disposed within the bore and biases the valve spool to its first position. A first electromagnetic coil and a second electromagnetic coil are operably controlled between an energized state and a de-energized state. The spring biases the valve spool to its first position when at least one of the first and second electromagnetic coil is in its de-energized state.

An electrohydraulic valve system for controlling a braking system of a work machine includes a valve body forming a bore and a fluid channel, and a valve spool disposed within the bore and in fluid communication with the fluid channel. The valve spool includes at least a first land and a second land. An armature is positioned with respect to the valve spool to move the valve spool axially within the bore between a first position and a second position, and a spring is disposed within the bore for biasing the valve spool to its first position. A first electromagnetic coil and a second electromagnetic coil are arranged relative to one another and the armature for forming a magnetic field when energized, and a detent system is positioned within the valve body for exerting an axial force to the valve body or armature.

Embodiments of a cold start lubricant distribution system include a lubricant distribution circuit, which fluidly interconnects first and second actively-lubricated work vehicle assemblies onboard a work vehicle. A flow divider section is included in the lubricant distribution circuit and through which lubricant flow is apportioned between the first and second actively-lubricated work vehicle assemblies. A lubricant supply pump is further located in the lubricant distribution circuit upstream of the flow divider section. The cold start lubricant distribution system further includes a lubricant flow modification assembly operably in a cold start mode. When operating in the cold start mode, the lubricant flow modification assembly reduces a volume of lubricant flow supplied to the first actively-lubricated work vehicle assembly through the flow divider section relative to a volume of lubricant flow supplied to the second actively-lubricated work vehicle assembly through the flow divider section.

The lockout system includes a second armature, a second electromagnetic coil, and a lockout spring, where the second electromagnetic coil is operably controlled between an energized state and a de-energized independently of the first electromagnetic coil.

An electric machine including a distributed cooling system is disclosed. The electric machine includes a housing, a stator assembly, a rotor assembly, and a distributed cooling system. The distributed cooling system comprising at least one inlet, a first passage, a second passage, and a third passage. The first passage extending axially in a first direction through at least a portion of the rotor shaft to direct a flow of coolant in the first direction. A second passage fluidly coupled to the first passage extending in a second direction through at least a portion of the rotor shaft between a receiving end and a distributing end. At least one third passage fluidly coupled to the second passage extending between a first end and a second end and distributes coolant received from the second passage to at least one of the first end or the second end into the stator assembly.

A sensor in operative communication with a primary power equipment unit driving a transmission of a work vehicle generates a torque signal representative of torque delivered to the transmission by the primary power equipment unit. The overload protection method and system uses the torque signal to control the torque delivered to the transmission of a work vehicle by the primary power equipment unit.

Drivetrain overload protection for work vehicles using power boost

A method of hot drop fastening components and a product thereby made is described. Machine components are provided. A first machine component defines a passageway and carries a coating. The first machine component is caused to expand by delivering a predetermined amount of energy to the first machine component, wherein the predetermined amount of energy is based on a property of the coating. A second machine component is inserted into the passageway of the expanded first machine component. Thereafter, the first machine component is permitted to cool with the first machine component inserted in the passageway thereby fastening the first machine component with the second machine component by the first machine component contracting as it cools. Properties such as adhesion and/or rust prevention properties of a primer coating in a motor manufactured using a hot drop process are preserved during the hot drop process in the manufactured product.

An electric drive for a transmission having a housing, a pump drive, and a primary sump configured to hold oil and operatively connected to a vehicle engine. The electric drive includes an oil-cooled electric generator electrically connected to an oil-cooled electric motor by an inverter. The electric generator includes a generator oil output operatively connected to and configured to deliver a flow of oil to a secondary sump located in the housing. The electric motor includes a motor oil output operatively connected to and configured to deliver a flow to the secondary sump. The secondary sump is separate from the primary sump, wherein the oil from the secondary sump is pumped back into the lubrication circuit of the transmission. The secondary sump includes a feature to allow overflow to drain to the primary sump.
