The invention relates to a sheet-material packaging bag which has a first side gusset () and a second side gusset (), which are positioned between a front surface () and a rear surface (), a top sealing seam () and at least one longitudinal sealing seam (), wherein a reclosure device is arranged on the inner bag surface, beneath the top sealing seam (), in the region of the first side gusset (), and wherein the first side gusset () forms a reclosable pouring means when a bag portion () above the reclosure device is opened in order for contents to be removed. According to the invention, a carrying handle () is arranged on the second side gusset () and, as seen in the longitudinal direction of the second side gusset (), is provided in the center or in an off-center manner in relation to the base () of the sheet-material packaging bag.

Sheet-material packaging bag

A film bag formed by folding a film has a front surface, a back surface, a laid-in first side fold, and a laid-in second side fold. The bag is closed off by a longitudinal sealing seam and a head sealing seam. The head sealing seam has a step shape, with a first head sealing seam segment extending from the outside edge of the second side fold to the ends of the re-closure strip attached to the inside of the front and back surfaces, and a second head sealing seam segment that follows the first in step shape and connects a bag segment that projects upward, at the edges, forming a seal, and extends to the outside edge of the bag, along the first side fold. The projecting bag segment can be removed entirely or in part, along a separating line disposed above the re-closure strip.

Film bag

A film bag that forms a sealed film package, with bag surfaces made of an at least two-layered composite film that has a heat-sealable polyolefin inner layer and a non-sealable outer layer. There is at least one carrying handle made of a heat-sealable film. The bag surfaces have window-like openings spaced away from the edges of the film bag, which are covered by film tabs on the inside of the bag. The film tabs are sealed by a heat-sealable first side to the layer of the bag surfaces on the inside of the bag, and each is joined to it by a sealing seam that surrounds the associated opening as an air-tight closure. Each of the ends of the at least one carrying handle is sealed in the region of the openings to the heat-sealable first side of the film tabs covering the openings.
