Today the use of false ceilings is decreasing as it involves too high an energy consumption. The tendency nowadays is to have bare concrete ceilings onto which luminaires are mounted, which often causes acoustical problems. The invention deals with these acoustical problems and relates to an illumination device () comprising a concave reflector () bordering, with an outer edge (), on a light emission window (). The reflector has a reflective surface () facing the light emission window. The illumination device further comprises lamp holding means () for accommodating a light source (), and said lamp holding means being positioned in between the reflective surface and the light emission window. The illumination device is characterized in that the reflector is made of acoustically absorbing material.

Illumination device and luminaire

The invention is related to a feeding tube () in particular for total parental nutrition and/or medicine dosing including at least one inner tubing (), at least one lumen (), at least one sensing element, in particular an electrode (), the sensing element being connected to at least one monitoring device by a wiring () for internal monitoring of a patient's vital functions. The wiring () is at least partially wounded in tight contact with a surface of the inner tubing (). Wherein the inner tubing () is at least partially surrounded by an outer tubing () in order to cover the inner tubing () and/or the wiring ().

Feeding tube

An electronic system comprises at least a base part, a power source and at least one electronic module adapted to be powered by the power source. The base part is provided with at least two parallel extending, elongated tracks being electrically conductive. At least one parameter of the electronic module is changeable by amending the distance of the electronic module to a predetermined location on the tracks.

Electronic system and an electronic module therefor

The present application is directed to a feeding tube in particular for total parental nutrition and/or medicine dosing. The feeding tube functionality is combined with internal monitoring of vital functions, such as ECG, PH, etc. The position of the electrodes is essential for measuring the optimal signal. In the present application the optimal position is determined by measuring the inversion point of the ECG signal. During insertion of the catheter or modified feeding tube the ECG signal is continuously monitored. Via an acoustic signal the strength of the signal is notable. This enables the nursing staff a simple control of the insertion process.
