To enable clients to self-manage service issues for conferences on a bridge operated by a conference provider, there is provided a web based interface. Companies are provisioned in a client database as receiving client managed conference services instead of provider managed conference services. Users of the company or client of the Provider may log in to a web interface through a company or client specific URL and be presented with an interface that enables the user to view and perform management functions for conferences on a bridge that relate to that user only.

Conference management

Audio conferences between multiple participants may be conducted without preconfigured passcodes by associating a toll line with a particular conference partner. Users of a conferencing system may dial the toll line and enter a passcode. The first user to enter may enter any passcode of their choosing, such as a passcode agreed to by other conference participants. If no conference with that passcode is currently executing on the conference platform, a new conference is activated. Subsequent users who enter the same passcode are joined to the conference.

An example home bridge may perform receiving an out dial call from a user, parsing a call number to determine a country code, querying a bridge location database to determine a closest designated bridge to a country associated with the country code, providing to the designated bridge out dial data for the call, and lending the out dial call at the designated bridge.
