An overhead bin for an aircraft comprises a base unit that is designed to fasten the overhead bin to a retaining structure of the aircraft, and a mounting unit that is connected to the base unit. By way of the mounting unit, a stowage space of the overhead bin can be accessed. The base unit provides a first stowage space region, and the mounting unit provides a second stowage space region that together with the first stowage space region forms the stowage space of the overhead bin.

A cabin attendant seat comprises a seat element and a backrest. The backrest is movable relative to the seat element between an upright position, wherein a backrest surface of the backrest extends at an angle of approximately 80 to 100&#xb0; relative to a seat surface of the seat element, and a folded-back position, wherein the backrest surface of the backrest extends substantially co-planar with the seat surface of the seat element.

Convertible cabin attendant seat

A multifunctional module is provided for a passenger services conduit in an aircraft. The multifunctional module includes, but is not limited to a first interface and at least one utility unit for providing a passenger with services. The first interface is for connecting the utility unit to the passenger utility conduit, the interface, for example, being designed as a mechanical interface.

Passenger services conduit

According to an exemplary embodiment of the invention, pre-assembly and integration of part of an aircraft cabin takes place outside the aircraft structure by means of an assembly device. After pre-assembly, the part of the aircraft cabin is slid into the open section of the aircraft structure where it is installed.
