A bone conduction implant, including a bone fixture including a male screw section configured to screw into a skull and an abutment configured to be rigidly attached to the bone fixture, wherein the abutment includes an exterior surface diameter lying on a first plane normal to a longitudinal axis of the bone conduction implant that is less than or substantially equal to the maximum thread diameter of the male screw section of the bone fixture.

Examples disclosed herein are relevant to improvements in connectors for bone conduction devices, particularly bone conduction auditory prostheses, to connect to an abutment. Disclosed examples include a connector assembly having a vibration conductor separate from a coupling. Examples can further include an adapter to modify a length of the connector assembly. Examples can further provide an angled connector assembly to modify an angle at which the connector assembly connects to an abutment.

A therapeutic signal generator generates a therapeutic signal for ameliorating the mental disorder. Examples relate to systems and methods for providing settings adjustments to auditory prostheses. One or more settings adjustments can be provided to an auditory device in response to a request for the adjustments or a notification that the recipient is experiencing poor quality. The technologies disclosed herein can dynamically adapt based upon information received from a set of auditory prostheses. The information received from the set of auditory prostheses can be used to update the settings adjustments.

Systems and method for adjusting auditory prostheses settings

Presented herein are magnet arrangements for use with encapsulated implantable components. An implantable component comprises an implant body and a plurality of wire loops forming an internal coil that are encapsulated in a biocompatible overmolding. The implantable component also comprises a bone fixture positioned proximate to the plurality of wire loops and an implantable magnet attached to the bone fixture.
