The communication system and associated methods includes a vehicle having an interior for seating a number of individuals, a camera coupled to the interior, and a display screen coupled to the interior. The communication system further includes an apparatus having a camera and a display screen. The camera of the vehicle is wirelessly connected to the display screen of the apparatus. The camera of the apparatus is wirelessly connected to the display screen of the vehicle.

Communication system, vehicle for use with same, and associated method

A seating assembly includes a seatback pivotally coupled to a seat base. A floor panel defines a cutout that has a first sidewall and a second sidewall. The first and second sidewalls frame a void. A track assembly has first and second C-channels coupled to the first and second sidewalls. First and second tracks are received by the first and second C-channels, respectively, and are coupled with an electrical assembly. A platform is positioned beneath the seating assembly and is at least partially received by the void. The platform includes a frame with an attachment feature that extends away from the floor panel and an extendable cross-member that is at least partially supported by the frame.

Vehicle seating assembly

A seat assembly includes a seat portion having a frame assembly, a carrier assembly and a displaceable platform operably coupled to the carrier assembly. The displaceable platform is operable between a use position and a deployed position. A retraction mechanism includes a first bracket operably coupled to the frame assembly, and a second bracket operably coupled to the displaceable platform. The first and second brackets are interconnected by an actuator that is operable between at-rest and actuated positions. The second bracket moves from a first position to a second position as the actuator moves from the at-rest position to the actuated position. At least one tether member is operably coupled to the first bracket and includes a body portion interlaced between the first and second brackets of the retraction mechanism.

A thermal management system for a vehicle includes a connection interface that is coupled with a compartment of the vehicle and is in fluid communication with a climate control system of the vehicle. A container is movably disposed in the compartment and is in fluid communication with the climate control system via the connection interface. At least one alignment feature is coupled with the compartment and engages at least one sidewall of the container to align the container with the connection interface while the container moves in the compartment.

The pair of depending frame attachment brackets are coupled with a pair of opposed lateral side rails of the common seat back frame. The adapter carrier has a unique configuration corresponding with one of the plurality of forward soft trim carrier assemblies and the seat back panel and closeout assemblies.

The partition structure includes a first wall fixed with the compartment and a plurality of second walls that are each moveable between a retracted position and an extended position. The plurality of second walls forms a space between the first wall and the plurality of second walls in the extended position. A casing is disposed in a space and selectively couples with a climate control system of the vehicle via a fluid connection with the compartment.

A head airbag is mounted to the seatback and is inflatable over the occupant-seating area. A knee airbag is mounted to the body side. The knee airbag is inflatable from the body side to an inflated position. The knee airbag in the inflated position is adjacent to the seat bottom in the seat-forward direction from the seat bottom.

The carriage assembly includes a first rail engagement structure that extends into the rail assembly and is received within the first channel; a second rail engagement structure that extends into the rail assembly and is received within the second channel; and a carriage housing that is coupled to the first and second rail engagement structures. The carriage housing extends between the first and second rail engagement structures. The carriages assembly also includes one or more drive assemblies that engage with a top surface of the central member of the rail assembly.
