A thermoelectric safety assembly that includes a thermocouple configured to detect a flame in a burner and, in response to detecting the flame, generating an electrical voltage. The assembly includes an electromagnetic valve electrically connected to the thermocouple, and a transistor electrically connected between the thermocouple and the electromagnetic valve. The electromagnetic valve is arranged electrically connected with a field-effect transistor. The assembly also includes a voltage booster configured to power the transistor, the transistor being connected in parallel with the voltage booster. An output terminal of the voltage booster is arranged connected with a gate terminal of the transistor, the voltage booster being configured to boost the electrical voltage generated in the thermocouple, an electrical voltage being obtained that is capable of keeping the transistor closed such that the electromagnetic valve is energized.

Thermoelectric safety assembly

A thermoelectric assembly for powering one or more electromagnetic valves of a cooking appliance. According to one embodiment the assembly includes a main current circuit that includes a thermocouple, a cable configured for electrically connecting the thermocouple with an electromagnetic valve, and a transistor connected to the cable and configured for de-energizing the electromagnetic valve. The main current circuit also includes a connection module that includes a power supply connected to the transistor, the power supply having input terminals configured for being connected to an external energy source, a rectifier, and a resistive block connected between one of the input terminals and the rectifier, the resistive block being configured for minimizing the current circulating through the power supply to a value equivalent to the galvanic isolation.

Thermoelectric assembly for powering electromagnetic valves of a cooking appliance

Gas cooking appliance including at least one burner and an ignition device configured to ignite the burner. The ignition device includes a pulse generator configured to send at least one electric pulse for the purpose of generating a spark to ignite the burner. The cooking appliance also includes a flame detector configured to detect the presence/absence of a flame in the burner. The pulse generator is in electrical contact with a part of the burner and the flame detector is connected to ground. The cooking appliance further includes insulating means that insulates the burner with respect to ground, such that when the pulse generator sends at least one electric pulse, an electric spark capable of igniting the burner is generated between the burner and the flame detector.

According to one embodiment a valve arrangement for a gas burner is provided that includes a manual gas valve with a manual actuator for opening or closing the gas flow, and an electromagnetic valve having a movable closure member which allows opening or closing a gas passage to the burner. The electromagnetic valve is arranged in the gas valve, with the manual actuator being coupled to a rotary flow regulating element, the manual actuator being configured in order to move the closure member of the electromagnetic valve, opening the gas passage, the manual gas valve including a reduced gas flow channel which puts the inlet conduit in fluid communication with the regulating element regardless of the position of the closure member.

Valve arrangement for a gas burner

A gas safety valve adapted to a domestic appliance is provided that includes an electromagnet, a phase wire and a ground wire. A support of the electromagnet includes a housing in which resides a phase closure. A segment of the phase wire and a segment of the ground wire are respectively electrically connected with the phase closure and with the support. According to one embodiment the valve includes a connector inserted in the housing of the support. The connector having inserted therein a first end portion of a phase terminal and a first end portion of a ground terminal that are respectively electrically connected with the phase closure and an inner area of the support. Each of the phase terminal and ground terminal including a second end portion that resides exposed to the outside of the valve.

Gas safety valve

Gas safety valve that includes a body having an inlet conduit and an outlet conduit. The body includes a housing in which a magnetic group is at least partially disposed. The magnetic group configured to regulate the opening or closing of a gas passage between the inlet conduit to the outlet conduit. The magnetic group includes an electromagnet, a support of the electromagnet and a bushing coupled to the support. The safety valve includes fixing means for fixing the bushing and the magnetic group to the body. The fixing means includes a fixing element having a cylindrical central part the free end of which is adapted to the geometry of the body retaining the fixing element against the body, and a flange extending radially towards the inside and retaining the bushing against the support.

Safety valve

According to one implementation a gas safety valve is provided that includes a reel onto which a coil is wound, the coil including a phase wire and a grounding wire. The reel has an elongated projection having first and second electrical contact areas onto which the phase wire and grounding wire are respectively arranged. The gas safety valve further includes an electromagnet having a core that is at least partially housed in an internal cavity of the reel. The safety gas valve also includes a support and a phase connector. The first electrical contact area is arranged such that it is inserted in the phase connector and the second electrical contact area is arranged such that it is inserted in the support, both electrical contact areas exerting an elastic force against the phase connector and the support, respectively, assuring the electrical connection between the phase wire and the phase connector, and between the grounding wire and the support, respectively.

Safety valve adapted for a cooking appliance

A thermocouple connector adapted to an electromagnetic valve, the electromagnetic valve having a quick-connect terminal with a base. The connector has an inner surface that faces the base when the connector is inserted transversally to the connection terminal. The connector includes guiding means that projects out in relation to the inner surface, extending longitudinally in the direction of insertion, adapted to guide the transverse insertion of the connector. The connector is configured to come into contact with the base through the guiding means.

An electrical connection device for a gas control valve. In one embodiment the device has a first electrical insulation member with an aperture extending between top and bottom surfaces and a second electrical insulation member having a top face and a bottom face and situated in the aperture of the first electrical insulation member so that the top face resides in the aperture and the bottom face resides outside the aperture. A joint member connects the first and second electrical insulation members. The device also includes first and second electrical terminals that are electrically insulated from one another and wherein each extends from the second electrical insulation member through the joint member to a location outside the first electrical insulation member. The first electrical terminal has a first inner terminal situated on the first face of the second electrical insulation member, a first outer terminal that projects out radially from the first insulation member, and a first intermediate segment that extends between the first inner terminal and the first outer terminal. The second electrical terminal has a second inner terminal situated on the second face of the second electrical insulation member, a second outer terminal that projects out radially from the first insulation member, and a second intermediate segment that extends between the second inner terminal and the second outer terminal.

Electrical connection device for a gas control valve

An electromagnetic safety valve that includes a reel, a support that has a first segment that is inserted in the interior of the reel and which acts as a fixed core, a movable core that moves in the interior of the reel, a sealing member connected to one end of the movable core that opens a passage of gas overcoming the opposition of a spring when the valve is energised, and a casing that encloses the reel. The support has a second segment that includes a base upon which the reel is supported, the base including axial through holes for the respective passage of a phase wire and a mass wire. The second segment also includes a coaxial housing wherein a male terminal is inserted.
