The present invention concerns an intraluminal vascular prosthesis for implantation into the heart and/or cardiac vessels of a patient, in particular for anchoring in the region of the cardiac valve leaflets. The vascular prosthesis comprises a stent support and a prosthesis material at least partially covering the stent support, such, that a covered proximal portion and a non-covered distal portion are formed. Furthermore, the vascular prosthesis has at least one elongate wire-shaped anchoring structure at the proximal end, which is substantially loop-shaped and which is fixed at two ends to the stent support and which is positioned with its proximal end in the form of a loop pointing in the proximal direction and projecting beyond the proximal end of the stent support.

Intraluminal vascular prosthesis for implantation into the heart or cardiovascular vessels of a patient

The present invention relates to a prosthetic mitral valve device for implanting at the native mitral valve region of a heart. The prosthetic mitral valve coaptation enhancement device comprises a main body consisting of a stentframe and a valve element attached thereto, wherein the main body has a sealing section and a valve-bearing section, the valve-bearing section; the shape of the sealing section of the main body, in the compressed state, has a form that is adapted to the coaptation zone of the native mitral valve during systole, and the sealing section of the main body, the radial rigidity of the stentframe is lower than the radial rigidity of the valve-bearing section; the prosthetic mitral valve coaptation enhancement device further comprises at least one anchoring element, which anchoring element is coupled to the main body and is capable to anchor the main body within the native mitral valve region of a heart.

The present invention relates to a stent graft and to an insertion system for the stent graft according to the invention. The stent graft comprises a stent graft portion with a self-expanding stent having successive rings of meandering supports and a first prosthesis material secured on the rings. On at least one of its rings, the stent graft portion has two loop-shaped fixing elements which are attached via a common fixing area and which are attached to the supports of the rings in such a way that, due to the fact that they are guided in opposite directions around the hollow cylindrical body, the latter is compressible. Furthermore, the insertion system according to the invention also has a pin element with which the loop-shaped fixing elements can be threaded on.

Cardiac valve prosthesis system

The present invention relates to a device for delivering a self-expanding stent in a vessel of the body. The device comprises a tubular sheath which, in a distal section, keeps the stent radially compressed, and a pusher element, which is guided in the tubular sheath, in order to stabilize the stent when the sheath is pulled back. A handle is also provided, with a passage via which the pusher element is secured on the handle. The device further comprises a tubular rod which is fixedly connected to the handle and inside which the pusher element is provided, and which is provided at least in part with regularly spaced elevations and with depressions lying between the elevations. In addition, a movable element is provided which is arranged movably over the rod, distally from the handle, and whose movement in the proximal direction allows the sheath to be pulled back.
