A shielding spring shell has a contact tab with a pair of spring sections adjoining a fillet. One of the spring sections is an at least radially resilient radial spring and another of the spring sections is an at least axially resilient axial spring.

Shielding spring shell for high current plug-in connections

A contact system comprises a ground cylinder, a shielding cylinder press-fit with the ground cylinder, and a contact ring disposed between the ground cylinder and the shielding cylinder. The contact ring includes a strip of electrically conductive material defining a plurality of projections on at least one longitudinal side. The projections electrically contact the ground cylinder and the shielding cylinder for establishing an electrically conductive connection therebetween.

A silicone composite for high temperature insulation applications is disclosed. The composite is formed of a silicone and a thermally decomposable inorganic filler which are compounded together. The compounded material is then injection molded, overmolded, compression molded, cast, laminated, extruded, or dispensed. When the silicone composite is exposed to a high temperature, it forms an inorganic composite and maintains its insulating properties and dimensional stability.

An apparatus for measuring an electric current through a bus bar comprises a compensation coil and a magnetic field sensor. The bus bar has a through-hole dividing the electric current flowing through the bus bar into at least two partial currents flowing around the through-hole. The compensation coil is disposed in the through-hole and generates a compensation field. The compensation field compensates a plurality of magnetic fields generated by the partial currents and/or an external magnetic field such that a magnetic flux density of a resulting magnetic field at a predetermined position of the through-hole does not exceed a predetermined threshold. The magnetic field sensor is disposed in the through-hole and detects the magnetic flux density of the resulting magnetic field at the predetermined position. The magnetic field sensor emits an output signal corresponding to the detected magnetic field.

Apparatus for measuring an electric current through a bus bar

An angle sensor is disclosed. The angle sensor has a disc, a first magnetic pattern disposed on a side of the disc and including a number N1 of first portions of spirals regularly distributed in a first ring, and a second magnetic pattern disposed on a side of the disc and including a number N2 of second portions of spirals regularly distributed in a second ring. The numbers N1 and N2 are coprime and N1 is different from N2, N2&#x2212;1, and N2+1.

An indicator element for a magnetic rotation angle sensor having a field probe for generating a sensor signal in response to a geometric position of the indicator element relative to the field probe is disclosed. The indicator element has a permanent magnet with an annular cross-section having a plurality of segments, magnetization of the segments being in different directions so that a homogeneous magnetic field is formed in an inner region of the indicator element into which the field probe is arranged. At least two segments exhibit radial or diametrical magnetization and at least two segments exhibit lateral magnetization.
