A description is given of a sonotrode () for connection to an ultrasonic vibration transducer () comprising a connecting portion (), which extends along a first axis () and is attached by a first end () to the vibration transducer () or is connected thereto, wherein the connecting portion () is made to vibrate almost exclusively along the first axis () by the ultrasonic vibration transducer (). Said sonotrode is characterized in that, at the free end () of the connecting portion (), opposite from the first end (), both a substantially cylindrical, first sleeve (), which extends along a second axis (), and a substantially cylindrical, second sleeve (), which extends along a third axis (), are arranged in a common crossing region (), wherein the first axis () forms a first angle (&#x3b3;) in the range of 100-140&#xb0; with the second axis (), and wherein the first axis () forms a second angle (&#x3b2;) in the range of 100-140&#xb0; with the third axis (), wherein the three axes () are arranged substantially in one sonotrode plane (). Moreover, corresponding sonotrode tools and uses of such sonotrode tools are described.
