The invention is a process to facilitate contacting of one or several power electronics components () with strip conductors () on a substrate () with the aid of a contact device () with several flat contact elements () that are connected to each other by means of bridges (), including the following steps: (a) the contact device () is set on the upper side of the component (); (b) the underside of a contact element () is electrically connected both with a contact surface (S, G) on the upper side of a component () and with a strip conductor (); (c) at least one of the bridges () between the individual contact elements () is severed by means of thermal gouging. The invention also includes an assembly () produced with the process as well as a contact device () with several flat contact elements () to facilitate contacting of power electronics components ().

An electric machine designed as a starter, generator, or starter-generator for a motor vehicle and presenting a housing, wherein said housing comprises a winding with coils or coil groups including connector heads. It comprises power electronics units with power switch components distributed along the perimeter of the housing, as well as conductor rails connected with power electronics units, and coil exit rails going from a power electronics unit to an associated coil or coil group. Said power electronics units are arranged on the face of the housing in a clearance created by the connector heads, which are located radially outside or inside the connector heads. Said power switch components comprise a contact area and are arranged directly&#x2014;without inserted electric insulation&#x2014;on one of the power loops or a coil exit rail.

An electronic power circuit includes several power modules ( ) and is especially for controlling an electrical machine.
