The invention refers to a straightener for rolled ferrous products, of the type in which a framework ( ) comprises a pair of opposed shoulders ( ) which support two sets of rolls, a top set ( ) and a bottom set ( ), which define between them a straightening path for straightening said rolled products. According to the invention, said opposed shoulders ( ) may be translated horizontally between a closed, operative, position of containment and support of said rolls ( ), and an open, non-operative, position, in which said sets of rolls ( ) may be removed for replacement with other sets of different rolls. Moreover provided are supporting and transporting means, which are independent of the aforesaid framework ( ), for supporting said sets of rolls ( ) in said open, non-operative, position of the shoulders ( ).

A vertical coil winder for winding hot rolled products. A reel includes a cylindrical container and a plurality of vertical rods provided within the container. A gap is defined between the container and the rods to receive a hot rolled product which is wound due to the rotation of the reel. The rods can move in the radial direction between an expanded position for winding the product and a withdrawn position for extracting the coil.

A stacker for the stacking of metallic section bars in alternating upright and reverse layers in an orderly manner, in particular of section bars originating from rolling mills by a conveying line which includes a plurality of trolleys equipped with lances capable of moving forward and backward from the reception area of a stack of section bars to a deposition area of the same layer of section bars in an upright position, and a plurality of magnetic heads capable of being actuated to rotate by a first set of actuating members from a picking-up position of another layer of section bars to a depositing position of the same layer of section bars reversed on top of the first layer of upright section bars. According to the invention, each head performs both a vertical shifting motion essentially parallel to itself and an oscillating motion, where the shifting motion is actuated by a second set of actuating mechanisms independent of the first and the said oscillating motion is actuated by a third set of actuating mechanisms also independent of the first set.

An automatic stacker with rotary heads for stacking in an ordered manner in alternate upright and inverted layers rolled metal sections originating from a rolling mill via a transport line is characterised in that each head also undergoes vertical translational movement in the directions of the arrow substantially parallel to itself, such movement being provided by a second drive mechanism independent of a first providing rotation of the head itself. In this manner, the head deposits softly and with precision each layer of sections on the layer placed below, thus avoiding jamming and improper stacking.
