A radiofrequency harvester circuit may be used in a battery-less RFID device. The harvester circuit includes an antenna unit that captures radiofrequency signals and harvesting circuitry coupled to the antenna unit for collecting energy from the radiofrequency signals captured by the antenna unit. The antenna unit is selectively tunable at a plurality of tuning bands that are scanned by selectively tuning the antenna unit at different frequency bands and sensing respective values indicative of the power of radiofrequency signals captured by the antenna unit at the frequency bands scanned. A highest value out of said respective values for the power of radiofrequency signals as well as the frequency band in the plurality of tuning bands of the antenna unit providing the aforesaid highest value are identified and the harvester circuit is operated with the antenna unit tuned at the frequency band providing the highest value thus identified.

A fully differential operational amplifier is provided. The amplifier has input nodes and includes a differential input stage for receiving input signals over the input nodes and providing output signals on first and second intermediary nodes. The amplifier includes a fully differential amplification stage having positive and negative inputs coupled to the first and second intermediary nodes, respectively. The amplifier includes a first compensation transistor having conduction terminals coupled to the first intermediary node and a first node, and a control terminal coupled to a negative output of the fully differential amplification stage. The amplifier includes a second compensation transistor having conduction terminals coupled to the second intermediary node and a second node, and a control terminal coupled to a positive output of the fully differential amplification stage. The amplifier includes positive and negative output stages for providing amplifier outputs and feeding the outputs back to the amplifier.

A system, such as, e.g., a multiplier, for processing digital signals by using digital signals in the Canonic Signed Digit representation, the system including an input element to make the digital signals available in the Binary Canonic Signed Digit representation, a converter to convert the digital signals into Canonic Signed Digit representation for use in processing. The input element may be a memory where the signals are stored in the Binary Canonic Signed Digit representation. Alternatively, the input element is adapted to be fed with digital signals in the two's complement representation, and includes at least one converter to convert the digital signals from the two's complement representation into the Binary Canonic Signed Digit representation. This preferably occurs via the T2I transformation, which leads to generating signals in the Canonic Signed Digit representation, which are then converted to the Binary Canonic Signed Digit representation.

Embodiments of the invention relate to a signal receiver inserted between a first and a second voltage reference and having a first and a second input terminal effective to receive differential signals and an output terminal effective to provide a converted signal. Advantageously, the signal receiver according to embodiments of the invention comprises a conversion stage inserted between the first and second voltage references and connected between the first and second input terminals of the signal receiver and an input terminal of an hysteresis comparator, connected in turn to the output terminal of the signal receiver. In particular, the conversion stage performs a conversion from any input signal received on respective input terminals to an intermediate signal provided on an output terminal and suitable for reception by the hysteresis comparator.

A digital AM demodulator, particularly for demodulating an input signal originating from a tuner, includes a first carrier generator for generating a first carrier signal which is not correlated with the input signal, and a multiplier for multiplying the first carrier signal by the input signal. Filters are arranged upstream and downstream of the multiplier for filtering undesired signals. The digital AM demodulator further includes a circuit for detecting a phase shift between a frequency of the input signal and a frequency of a local carrier signal. A correlation circuit correlates the first carrier signal with the input signal. The first carrier signal and the local carrier signal are mutually correlated, whereas the local carrier signal is not correlated with the input signal.

A switched capacitor low-pass filter incorporates a plurality of integrator stages cascade connected together. The filter includes at least one stage that includes a circuit device for cancelling out glitch pulses. This device is a deglitching circuit provided within the filter. Preferably, each stage in the filter is formed of a deglitching device which acts as a smoothing integrator.
