A washing agent dispenser for washing machines comprises a fixed dispenser part () and a removable dispenser part (). The removable dispenser part () comprises a hollow body () defining a tank for a washing agent. The tank has, in a lower part thereof, an outlet (), in a back wall of the hollow body (), which is couplable in a separable way to an inlet () at the front of the fixed dispenser part (). A retention valve () is mounted on the hollow body (), in a position corresponding to the outlet () of at the tank. The retention valve () is configured to assume a respective open position following upon coupling between the outlet () and the inlet (), and to assume a respective closed position following upon uncoupling between the outlet () and the inlet ().

Washing agent dispenser for dishwashing machines

A dispenser of washing agents for washing machines has a first tank, to contain a first washing agent, and a first dispensing arrangement, to dispense first dosed amounts of the first washing agent. The first dispensing arrangement has a peristaltic pump, which is configured to be driven in a first direction of rotation to cause delivery of the first dosed amounts of the first washing agent. The dispenser has a second tank, to contain a second washing agent, and a second dispensing arrangement, to dispense second dosed amounts of the second washing agent. The peristaltic pump has a command arrangement of the second dispensing arrangement, and is configured to be driven in a second direction of rotation, to drive the command arrangement so as to cause dispensing of the second dosed amounts of the second washing agent.

A microfluidic device for concentrating particles contained in a fluid sample comprises a substrate () having a surface where at least one microfluidic arrangement (M) is defined, which comprises: —a loading chamber (), for loading the fluid sample into the at least one microfluidic arrangement (M); —a plurality of microchannels (), which have respective inlet ends connected to the loading chamber (); and —a covering element (), which is substantially impermeable to the fluid sample and extends at least partially over the plurality of microchannels (). The loading chamber () and the microchannels () extend substantially according to a plane identified by the substrate (), and the microchannels () are partially delimited, in particular at an accumulation region thereof (CA) generally opposite to the respective inlet ends, by filtering means () permeable at least to air, the filtering means () being configured for withholding within each microchannel () any possible particles that may be present in the fluid sample.

Micro-fluidic device for concentration of particles

A semifinished product of an electric heater device () has a structure that extends in a length direction (L) and that comprises: —two connection bodies (), which substantially extend alongside one another or parallel to one another in the length direction (L) and are at least in part flexible or deformable in the length direction (L); and —a plurality of heating bodies (), each heating body () including a material having a PTC effect. The heating bodies () are set at a distance from one another in the length direction (L) and generally extend in a direction transverse to the length direction (L). The material having a PTC effect is a polymer-based material that is in electrical contact with the at least two connection bodies (). Each of the at least two connection bodies () comprises electrical- and mechanical-connection parts (), which have a mesh structure that is at least partially embedded or englobed in the polymer-based material.

The at least one microfluidic arrangement () comprises at least one microchannel () having a first end () and a second end (), wherein: —the at least one microchannel () comprises, in a region thereof intermediate between its first end () and its second end (), at least one accumulation area () that is at a first distance (R) in a radial direction (R) from the centre of rotation () of the substrate (); —the first end () and the second end () of the at least one microchannel () are at second distances (R) in a radial direction (R) from the centre of rotation () of the substrate (); and —the first distance (R) in a radial direction (R) is greater than the second distances (R) in a radial direction (R), in such a way that particles (P) possibly contained in a volume of fluid of the fluid sample (FS) that penetrates into the at least one microchannel () tend to concentrate in the at least one accumulation area () as a result of the centrifugal force caused by a rotation of the substrate () about the centre of rotation ().

Micro-fluidic device for concentration of particles via centrifugal force, and corresponding centrifugation and/or detection device

A bearing detection device comprises a housing body, to be fixed to a stationary ring of a bearing, and a detection arrangement on the housing body, comprising a piezoelectric transducer. The detection arrangement also comprises: a floating body, mounted on the housing body and suitable for mechanically transmitting vibrations of the bearing, and a sensor unit, which is mounted in a stationary position on the housing body and has a detection surface configured for receiving thereon a corresponding surface of the floating body. The piezoelectric transducer defines at least part of the detection surface and is configured for generating an electrical potential difference that is substantially proportional to the magnitude of a stress exerted by the floating body on the piezoelectric transducer.

Detection device for bearings

A level sensor comprises an electrical-connection structure and a level-detection structure. The level-detection structure comprises a plurality of elongated electrodes, which include at least three measuring electrodes. The elongated electrodes extend at least partially in side-by-sidey positions in a length direction of the level-detection structure and each have a proximal end and a distal end relative to the electrical-connection structure. The level-detection structure is divided, in the length direction, into a succession of detection sections, each of which includes two effective portions of two respective measuring electrodes, the two effective portions extending to a prevalent extent substantially parallel and equidistant, at a first predetermined distance from each other, in the length direction. In the detection sections there also extends, in the length direction, a non-effective portion of one further elongated electrode other than the two measuring electrodes that define the two effective portions of the corresponding detection section, the at least one further elongated electrode being one measuring electrode or else a reference electrode. The elongated electrodes are shaped in such a way that, at one or more of the detection sections, the non-effective portion of the at least one further elongated electrode extends to a prevalent extent at respective second predetermined distances from the corresponding two effective portions, the second predetermined distances being greater than the first predetermined distance.

Level sensor for detecting the level of a medium

A capacitive level sensor comprises a control circuit, a supporting structure and a detection structure on the supporting structure. The detection structure comprises a plurality of electrodes, each including a connection part and a plurality of detection parts which extend in a transverse direction relative to a length direction of the sensor, the detection parts of a first electrode being interdigitated with respect to the detection parts of a second electrode. The detection structure includes a plurality of detection sections, which extend in succession in the length direction and include an upper section and one or more underlying lower sections. Each detection section includes respective first and second electrodes, which are electrically insulated from one another and with respect to the first and second electrodes of the other detection sections. The control circuit is prearranged for selectively applying an electrical potential difference between the first and second electrodes of a corresponding detection section, for detecting a value of electrical capacitance therebetween, and deriving therefrom the level of a medium.

A device () for creating cell-exclusion zones comprises a baseplate () having a first major face from which a plurality of exclusion reliefs () project, each exclusion relief () having at least one distal end () configured for contact with a bottom () of a respective well () of a multi-well cell-culture plate (). The baseplate () and the plurality of exclusion reliefs () are defined at least in part by an elastic or flexible material in such a way that at least the baseplate () is elastically deformable at least during removal thereof from a multi-well cell-culture plate (), the elastic or flexible material preferably being an elastomer.

An optical sensor has a body including a transparent interface wall having an outer surface in contact with a liquid, to define therewith a reflection interface. An optical module is coupled at an inner surface of the interface wall, to detect a characteristic of the liquid substance via light reflection. The optical module includes a light emitter and a light receiver facing respective inclined surfaces of the interface wall. The optical module also includes a supporting structure which is elastically flexible, to enable the light emitter and the light receiver of the optical module to vary a relative position thereof and with respect to the inclined surfaces of the interface wall, when the supporting structure is secured to the inner surface of the interface wall.
