A voltage reference circuit includes a first circuit block configured to generate a proportional to absolute temperature current, the first circuit block comprising a current mirror amplifier, a second circuit block coupled to the first circuit block and configured to generated a complimentary to absolute temperature current, and a third circuit block coupled to both the first circuit block and the second circuit block. The second circuit block includes a multi-stage common-source amplifier. The third circuit block is configured to combine the proportional to absolute temperature current and the complimentary to absolute temperature current to generate a reference voltage at an output of the voltage reference circuit.

Low power voltage reference circuits

An active high gain filter includes high value resistances in feedback implemented using a negative resistance circuit configuration. The high value resistance is implemented using two or smaller resistances connected in the negative resistance circuit configuration. This implementation permits integration of the filter circuit using less occupied area while still providing an accurate transfer function response.

High gain filter circuit with an accurate transfer function

A circuit includes a first pair of transistors connected in parallel between a first node and a second node with a diode-connected transistor coupled to the second node. A second pair of transistors has current terminals connected at a third node. A first and second current sink transistors are connected in a current mirror configuration with the diode-connected transistor and further coupled to the third node. A first differential amplifier has an output coupled to control terminals of the first and third transistors and an input coupled to a further current node of the third transistor. A second differential amplifier has an output coupled to control terminals of the second and fourth transistors and an input coupled to a further current node of the fourth transistor.

Control circuit for low noise amplifier and related differential and single-ended amplification devices

A fully differential operational amplifier includes a differential input stage, at least one output stage and a common-mode feedback circuit connected with the input stage. The differential input stage includes a differential pair of transistors and a bias circuit for the differential pair of transistors. A start-up circuit operates to detect an operating condition of the differential pair of transistors of the input stage and in response thereto turn on the bias circuit.

Fully differential operational amplifier with common-mode feedback circuit

A pulse generator circuit is provided. The pulse generator circuit has an input adapted to receive an input electrical quantity and an output at which an output electrical quantity is made available. A transfer characteristic establishes a relationship between said input and said output electrical quantities. The pulse generator circuit is adapted to provide said output electrical quantity in the form of pulses having a predetermined shape, suitable to be used for UWB transmission. The transfer characteristic has substantially a same shape as that of said pulses. Moreover, a UWB modulating system exploiting the novel pulse generator is proposed.
