The disclosure relates to a roller tappet for a high-pressure fuel pump. The roller tappet includes a housing that accommodates a cam contact roller next to a drive-side annular face of the housing. A bridge piece sits on an inner lateral surface of the housing, after the cam contact roller, as viewed from the drive-side annular face. An outer end face of the bridge piece has a rest for a pump piston. A separate adapter bolt protrudes from the rest beyond the output-side annular face of the housing; an end face of the adapter bolt, remote from the bridge piece, serves as a direct rest for the pump piston. An annular disc sits next to the output-side annular face of the housing, and the bore of said annular disc surrounds and retains the adapter bolt.

Roller tappet for a high-pressure fuel pump

A pivot bearing () for a hydraulic clearance compensation element (), especially of a valve train of an internal combustion engine, is provided in which the pivot bearing () has a first part () projecting in an axial direction (a) with a surface () that is convex at least in some sections and also a second part () with a surface () that is concave at least in some sections for at least partially holding the first part (). To optimize the production of such a pivot bearing and to minimize the associated costs, the invention provides that the first part () is constructed at least partially as a ball, wherein the second part () surrounds the ball () with undercut in the axial direction (a).

Pivot bearing of a hydraulic clearance compensation element

A transmission element in the form of a rocker arm () or swinging arm for a reciprocating piston internal combustion engine is provided that can be actuated on one side by a cam of a camshaft and on the other side is in active connection with at least one gas exchange valve directly or via an intermediate arrangement of a valve bridge. The transmission element has a hydraulic valve lash compensation element, also called 'HVA', and the hydraulic valve lash compensation element is arranged at a force transmission end of and attached to the transmission element.
