A cable fitting for cables that can be used for high-voltage direct-current (HVDC) energy transmission, the cable fitting having an electrically insulating layer. A process for the production of an electrically insulating layer of such a cable fitting, and also the use thereof.

Cable fitting for HVDC cables

Layered structures consisting of at least one film A containing a polyvinyl acetal PA and at most 16% by weight of plasticizer WA and at least one film B containing a polyvinyl acetal PB and at least 16% by weight plasticizer WB between two glass sheets, are produced by adhering at least one film A to at least one film B or at least one of the glass sheets by means of a liquid. The layered structure can then be pressed to form a composite glass laminate.

Production of glass laminates containing electrically conductive structures is facilitated by including the electrically conductive structures on a first polyvinyl acetate film with low or no plasticizer content, and employing a second polyvinyl acetal film with a high plasticizer content.

Process for producing laminated glass composites with embedded electrically conductive structures

Fluorescent displays are manufactured by lamination of at least one film A containing a polyvinyl acetal PA and, optionally, a plasticizer WA and at least one film B containing a polyvinyl acetal PB and at least one plasticizer WB between two glass panes, wherein prior to lamination, film A contains less than 22 wt. % plasticizer WA and contains 0.001 to 5 wt. % fluorophores, and film B contains at least 22 wt. % plasticizer WB and contains 0.005-5 wt. % UV absorber, each before lamination.
